[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I were very unhappy with our current soundbar setup. We were in the market for a new one so when we saw this Samsung HW-S700D 3.1ch Soundbar with Wireless Dolby Atmos it checked all of our boxes so we decided to give it a whirl. I was leery at first to try this because our TV is a different brand so we weren’t sure the setup process would go as smooth as it did. Let me tell you. Setup was a breeze and frustration free! It was as easy as connecting the soundbar and subwoofer to a power cord and they automatically linked to each other. I then first tried the wired connection with the HDMI to Micro HDMI cable from soundbar to Tv. The sound is amazing and perfectly balanced. Voices and dialogue are crisp and clear. The bass is easily adjustable with the remote. I wasn’t sure the sound would be as good with the wireless connection, but it was. Using the SmartThings app I could seamlessly switch and hide the cord. We’ve had no issues. The remote that is included automatically paired which was a relief. All in all we are extremely happy with this purchase and would give 6 stars if possible. 5 |

Picture and sound quality are excellent. Upscaling causes some image blur during fast motion, but is not objectionable. 4K BD have shown no issues with HDCP [tried only 2 discs] so far. No issues communicating video and special audio formats to capable soundbar and from soundbar HDMI out to TV ARC HDMI in. The remote turns on the TV to the proper signal input and the TV in turn switches on the soundbar, just as it should. I'm always amazed when devices actually work the way the manufacturer claims they do! Excellent product! This device does not have WiFi, but I prefer Ethernet anyways. 5 |

I am super impressed with my first soundbar and couldn't be happier with this Polk model. It was super easy to set up. The Bar required just a power cable and an HDMI (look for the HDMI port on your TV that says (ARC)). Amazingly, the woofer only required a power cable. After that, everything connected on its own. Power up your TV and the entire system powers up. No additional setup necessary. The sound system automatically powers up when your TV does. 5 |

I got this for my husband's media setup. He has at least 6 game consoles and a soundbar all on one tv. It took us a couple tries, some troubleshooting, and some googling to get it working (follow the included quick start guide! The order you plug things in MATTERS!), but it's been working great since. The main problem we had was that the soundbar wouldn't work, even though its HDMI was plugged into the tv and not the switcher. Changed the soundbar hookup from HDMI to optical and that did the trick! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar is perfect for what I wanted. First of, it's not too big, but big enough to give you good sound. Out of the box it was easy to install. Just plug in the power and one hdmi cable to the TVs hdmi ARC and the TV saw that it was connected. It asked of I want to change the audio to the soundbar and that was it. It fills the room with sound so much better than just the TV speakers alone. I had a hard time hearing the spoken audio and this really helps. I think it's a perfect size that it doesn't take up too much room under the TV. I really liked using it as my Bluetooth speaker. Even without a big bass module, it sounds very loud and clear. I really recommend this soundbar if you don't want it to take up too much space and enhances the sound quality of what you are watching. 5 |

I bought this soundbar a few weeks ago and I am very pleased with it. The setup was very easy and simple. I was not able to use the HDMI port on the soundbar due to my tv being a bit older but the optical out was sufficient enough and sounds great. Also, I really like textured finish and the black helps blend in with my tv. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don’t let the size of the ultra-slim Samsung HW-S700D soundbar fool you, this thing packs a punch! Volume level 20 (it goes from level 0-100) is plenty loud for my apartment’s living room. The audio was crisp coming from both my tv (connected via HDMI) and my phone (connected via bluetooth), and did not sound like a cheap soundbar at all. The subwoofer provides a good amount of bass, and its volume can be controlled with the included remote. Because I use a set-top box, I configured that device’s remote to control the audio from my HW-S700D. I still need to use the included remote if I wanted to adjust the bass volume. Setup was easy. I just connected the soundbar to my tv using the included HDMI cable (the end that goes into the soundbar is mini-HDMI), connected the power cable to the soundbar and subwoofer, and it was all good to go. The HW-S700D does include mounting brackets for mounting on walls, but I did not use them because I have my tv and soundbar on a stand. My issue with the HW-S700D is minor. First, it lacked an optical audio port. Because my tv only has 3 HDMI ports, I had to use one of them for the soundbar, forcing me to disconnect one of the devices already connected to the tv. While an inconvenience, it was minor in the long run. I plan to upgrade my tv soon to one that has 4 HDMI ports, making this less of an issue. All in all, the Samsung HW-S700D is a solid soundbar that doesn’t take up a lot of space and provides rich audio. A good choice that doesn’t break the bank! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so thrilled that I finally took steps to upgrade my home theatre sound with the Samsung Soundbar S50B. I love my smart TV, but the sound quality on its own is not at all smart. I found myself constantly turning the volume up and down in a battle to find the right level because speaking was too quiet but music and sound effects were way too loud. The Samsung Soundbar has solved that issue immediately with no need for adjustment on my end; the sound as I watch movies, TV, or play video games is well balanced. I also have satellite radio on my TV, and it sounds awesome on the soundbar. Setup was super easy too- I just used the included HDMI cord to plug in to the HDMI/ARC port on my TV, plug in the power cord, and select the source and it was ready to go with no troubleshooting needed. I just love when something works like it's supposed to the first time, and is intuitive. I'm a happy camper! 5 |

this is a major upgrade over my old soundbar. while you will not get the full home theater atmos experience, movies sound impressive. the voice boost feature is great for programs with poor sound mixes, it really works well! The only downside was connecting with my TV which has no HDMI out labeled and you have to go to the manual to find which port is the ARC. Not Polk's fault, just know there is just one HDMI input on the bar, you need a HDMI/ARC port on your TV 5 |
