Soundpath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adapter

Tried a few subwoofer cable which cost way more than SVS soundpath, but the smooth and punchy bass using SVS soundpath make everything change.

Set-up was fast and easy. I’m using it with a single SVS SB-3000 subwoofer, and the SoundPath receiver can connect to the power source on the back of that subwoofer. If your subwoofer doesn’t have that capability, then the device can get power from a USB source or a standard outlet. Once connected, pairing the transmitter and receiver was automatic and instantaneous. SoundPath allows experimentation with different subwoofer placements without having to worry about cables, and for future relocation. My current configuration has the subwoofer and receiver 22 feet away from the transmitter in a location that would have been almost impossible with cables. The instructions recommend a clear line of sight between receiver and transmitter (in my case, the line of sight was not perfect, but there were no hard obstacles).  The device warns you of lost connectivity with a blinking light (you can easily re-pair the devices with the reset button), which I have not had to do.  I haven’t experienced interference from phone or other devices, although the nearest internet router is nowhere near the SoundPath receiver or transmitter.   One minor complaint:  Both the receiver and transmitter have blue LEDs that emit an annoyingly bright light. You may want to consider covering those up. Overall, this was a great addition to my system, as there is absolutely no loss in functionality, and the transmitter and receiver are minimally intrusive.

The selling point for the SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System was better sound. The logic seems sound, but I must admit I can only vouch for the subwoofers amazing sound with the SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System. I put them on immediately after hooking up the new system when we moved, so I have nothing to compare it to. The other benefit is that it allows for an easier installation of the grill. I have low pile carpet and it was difficult. If you have deeper carpet I can see where the grill might not fit at all withount the SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System raising the sub.

The SVS SoundPath Tri-Band Audio Adapter is so easy use. It is basically plug and play. Yes, and that is it. I did not notice any delays at all. The only negative I would say is that the on/sync light is a very bright blue. I recommend placing black electrical tape over it to mute the brightness. Overall, two thumbs up. The product works as advertised and I would buy again. Once thing that SVS recommends is line of sight from receiver to transmitter. Well, disregard that, because mine goes through several walls from the basement to the 2nd floor and another one from the basement to the 1st floor and no issues.

This little speaker has a level of sound that’s unmatched.

Loud. I use as speaker for me alesis drum kit. I plan to get another one and a subwoofer.

A very good audiophile level speaker system

I bought another Five to pair in stereo with a previously purchased Five. It really brings it to another level, even without connecting it to a subwoofer.

The wireless adapter is simple to connect: plug it into the subwoofer out connector (AVR) and electric...then the receiver connects to the subwoofer...extremely easy with no problems in connection. All cords come with the units. There is no lag in sound and it allows placement of the subwoofer anywhere in your room. It will work with any powered speaker. SVS products are superior in construction and reliability. This is the best one for the price. I have not noticed any problem with restrictions of line of sight. My sub is under a desk and not within the line of sight and the receiver is across the room in a built in bookshelf system. No problems with transmission has been evident. SVS customer support is wonderful--any problems...just contact them.

The title says it all. This computer speaker + subwoofer set is very simple in its set-up and in its features, but HOLY CRAP the sound quality is amazing for this price. Sound direction is clear and music/games/movies sound great on these. If you want a great speaker set on a budget, look nowhere else
