Crisp and clear at just about any volume playing music or listening to the soundtrack of a movie. I tend a little more toward treble and I changed the crossover frequency to 70hz and the horns did the job. They’re paired with 12”Klipsch sub at 80hz so there’s good balance on the low end too.

It's a beautiful experience listening to deep bass or instrumental music. Call quality is great too and they ares super comfotrable for wearing 2-3hr at a stretch. There are way too many features that I could not test. The connectivity to multiple devices is not very intuitive (TBH I have not seen the tutorial included in the app so it's partially my mistake) Overall, highly recommended.

I listen to classical music and acoustic modern jazzy music (97% instrumental). These headphones sound natural and feel comfortable on my head. If you like the K701 then these are much better. NOTE: They are not bassy; i.e. bass is neutral.

The SM57 is an instrumental mic but it still works great as an interview mic as well for videos.

I have had and used the DR40 for the past 9 years. It was my workhorse for recording audio soundtrack for my videos. However, it failed to turn on recently and I definitely realized how much I had depended on it. After working on it for quite a while I was abel to get it working again, but decided I never wanted to be in that position again. So I ordered the upgraded version, the DR-40X. This is a much improved version and now the Dr-40 will become my backup. This is a really great product.

It transfers the dolby atmos soundtrack to my home theater receiver on all streaming services flawlessly unlike some other streaming devices. I love the 10 second forward and back feature using the arrow keys. I love that it can pick up my streaming service logins that were entered with my earlier roku purchase. Only minus....i wish they had a 4k dolby vision and dolby atmos product that would also work with an infrared remote so i could use a universal remote rather than the roku remote. IR and RF options in the same streaming device would be nice so i have a choice of remote.
