Source Camera Attribution Using Stabilized Video

GoPro HERO7 Black is a a wonderful action camera. Takes amazing stabilized video. Has awesome video specs and also takes wonderful pictures. It's just amazing.

It's an excellent long life power source for any pro or semi pro video camera.

Can either draw power from a single AA or through the XLR connection and the power source for the video camera. Excellent largely directional sound quality. Obviously a dead cat/kitten is needed for outside use as the foam black cover does not cut out enough wind. Can't go wrong with RODE.

I used this Mic on a Sony HVR-Z5 video camera approximately 25 feet from the source. I recorded a piano, male and female voices and a flute. The clarity of the sound is unparalleled. If you do not believe me go to FB page for Pierce Opera House and listen to some of the songs. I fully recommend this Mic. It is not cheap but it does the job.

I've used this for an on-camera main source for video, a secondary light for on set video, which the barn doors are amazing for. Also just used it for product photography which worked out great ! Only one thing I wished it did was dim to 0%, even at the 10% that it does dim to, it's still a shade brighter than I'd like but just diffuse it. Well made also, highly recommend it !

I reviewed video from every source I could find for 3 months before buying this camera. I purchased it because of the 4K and high bitrate capability. I held off of reviewing until after I shot and edited a National commercial with it. I was a pure canon guy before this and always bought into the idea that to be a true professional producer you had to film commercials using a Canon C type it the like. I was wrong. The client did not seem to even notice that I switched cameras and this was so much easier to use. During my edit the higher bitrate held up very well to color correction. I could say a lot more but for now, I am very impressed with this camera and have nothing at all negative to say about it. I have been producing commercials for over 20 years.

We used our GoPro as a live video source during a two-day corporate event. Once we had the camera up, we just forgot about it and left it on. It stayed up and going for two days without issue. But one thing, I believe there's a backdoor accessory for this. Probably a good idea to buy it. I didn't, because I had a stock open Go-Pro backdoor, but the left side of it covers the slot where the power adapter goes into the camera. I had to saw the left side of the door off - so that the adapter would fit.
