Spdif To Bluetooth Adapter

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient. 5 |

No frills AES to SPDIF and vice versa. Works great! 5 |

Purchased a Bluetooth adapter just to see what all the fuss was about ..Sent a few files to my computer.. Could have done this through Email :-) Only con i found is when I paired this with my Bluetooth headphones, my wifi connection would become choppy.. 5 |

This dock works well for me. For audio purposes I found that SPDIF worked, but audio through USB was garbled. Having said that, the SPDIF audio sounds terrific and works flawlessly. I run the SPDIF cable to a Fostex HPA4BL dac/amp. No issue with any of the USB ports or with the ability to power my laptop. I am highly satisfied. 5 |

This unit is built like a tank. While SPDIF and AES/EBU are virtually identical in protocol, they run at different levels. Most consumer gear uses SPDIF and the professional equipment usually uses AES. This box does the conversion effortlessly. Since it's bi-directional, it's almost like two units in one. This is a very handy thing to have in the studio kit. 5 |

For some time I have been driving two spdif devices off one spdif output. One was about a 40 foot run of cheap audio coax type cable. I often had erratic audio performance at the end of the long line no doubt due to poor signal quality. I had considered building my own distribution amp but when I found this product at this price point it looked efficient to try it. The product is housed in a pretty nice small metal box. It's a little tippy on top of my stack of instruments but seems to work very well driving the short and long spdif runs. I also now have two more channels available to add spdif runs to other rooms also. Thanks you. 5 |

I use the SB Z in my Windows 10 PC. I use the SPDIF Out to supply my external DAC, and this works great. Using the Windows Volume Mixer, I can sum all the various sources of sound generated by apps on the PC. But here's the cool part: I can also sum in the output of an external streamer, like a BlueSound Node. The streamer feeds the SB Z's SPDIF input. Within the SB Z app, Mixer, on the PC, i enable the SPDIF input, while under Advanced Features, I select Play stereo mix to digital output. Fabulous! Thanks, Sound Blaster! Thanks B&H! 5 |

I have an streamer/interface that only outputs digitally via SPDIF COAX (75ohm) and needed to connect it to Genelec 8361A AES (110ohm) Input. Using this in-between 75ohm cable (including connectors) and the AES input is the ideal and most robust solution, to prevent reflections that might potentially cause drop out or clocking issues. It is also the method that Genelec also suggests in their documentation. Short connects might not need this; but it's good peace of mind and also the proper workaround when AES to AES is unavailable. 5 |
