Speaker For Projector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my sound tower to use with my freestyle projector for outdoor movie viewing with my family. It paired easily with the projector and turns on automatically when I power up my projector. It also pairs easily with my phone to stream music. The sound quality for the movies and music is excellent, especially for it just being a single speaker. The bass on the speaker is clear even at higher volumes so it's great when my family is watching an action movie. It's all around versatile and portable enough to pack up in the car to take with you, even the battery life on it surpassed my expectations the first time I used it on a family camping trip. For its size and versatility it really is an overall great speaker - it'll even work seamlessly with additional speakers (which I plan to add a couple more for summer bbq's).

Incredible sound from a small space! We used the speaker combined with a tv projector outside for a "drive in movie experience" in our driveway. Placing the speaker next to the garage door (which was the movie screen), the sound reflected giving full range including bass like it was meant to be! Bose has a proven value in our House as we are daily using our 2nd Bose tv soundbar (currently the Bose 700). This speaker is better than what you could ever expect from something of that size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Affordable 4k projectors are finally here and I'm happy to upgrade my old 1080p projector. While I can't mount this the same, the flexibility of the projector head allows me to take this unit to friends houses and watch movies much easier. The auto focus is quick and adjusts to most ranges. I wish the power brick was built into the bottom of the unit but for now I have it zip tied together for ultimate portability. The ui is familiar from my older lg tv which is was easy to use. Pair this with a chrome cast and you have full access to anything from your phone or laptop if LG's apps don't already let you. The built in speaker is ok but I pair this with my lg Bluetooth speaker and turn on bass boost mode and then put it in front of us and that is sufficient on the go. The white design seems durable and overall I'm very happy with it.

I bought this to use with my Epson 1060 projector for outdoor movie night because the projector doesn't have an audio out. I simply plug it into the HDMI port and have a streaming device and speaker. No dragging the large party speaker back and forth. No audio lag like with a Bluetooth speaker. Win-win.

Incredible picture even in a bright room as you can see from the photos. At night though, it's hard to believe this image comes from a projector. The colors are absolutely incredible with the 3 laser system versus single laser and color wheels. Very quiet, relatively easy to set up even on a fixed screen, and, it's true, for a 120 screen, the projector is around 7.5 inches from the screen. I'm also using an Elite Aeon CineGray 3D screen which is not really suggested for an UST projector. I'm considering the Elite Aeon Starbright CLR, but, not sure how the picture can get any better. Finally, I do use a Sonos Playbar instead of the internal speaker. For something this high-end, I'm not sure why they even included speakers at all since 90% of people who purchase the LG UST HU85LA will have a high-end speaker system or audio system to connect to anyway. I'm sure it's due to the competition who came out beforehand. Buy it! Enjoy it!

How we use this product: We purchased this product to use in a classroom (25'by 30' with 8 ft ceiling). We have a computer connected to this projector and wanted to pass sound through the projector to this speaker. Things that are great: Easy installation - Sounds Great - Sound dispersion of 120 degrees helps hearing it very well all over classroom - Looks very nice attached to ceiling - Sound can also be controlled by projector remote control and/or computer volume control - Volume control on speaker helps balance - Simple directions - Great price! One thing that we have learned is that we can connect several of these speakers together. I also asked the company about connecting a second speaker to this one - they indicated that it is possible to daisy chain up to 6 of these together. (Ask company support for more details.) To complete the install - you will need Bogen Communications PRS2403 24V DC, 300 mA Power Supply and either speaker wire (18 gauge is recommended) and a 3.5mm connector (solder or screw type) or one can purchase a cable with bare wire on one end and 3.5mm connector on the other end. This is used between the speaker and projector audio output. It is a great speaker and it is working great in our school classroom. I would highly recommend this product.

Used this to mount a projector on my speaker stand for a function. It fit perfectly on top of my Ultimate Support stand. Worked as expected, couldn't ask for anything more.

I did a lot of research and looked into many different projectors, online specs review and field testing at electronic stores. I use the probe for for movies. The HD 66 is simy right on theory if you are looking for a compact, silent, yet sufficiently bright projector with deep connectivity. I'm using the HD connection - great to have, but it also has all other connections to cover your basics, VGA, s-video and component. The speaker is not worth mentioning, at least for movies, it may perhaps be ok for some sound effects during your next presentation or the odd clip here and there. But then I'm running everything at home through an LG HOME THEATER system, so the speaker is disabled and so far I didn't turn it back on. All in all a great projector for good money.

I use this projector for my game console and with my ipod when I go camping. I have owned it now for almost a week and I am absolutly amazed at the performance from this tinny projector. I have done a few battery tests and I have found that on the standard setting withount the projectors built in speaker, it will run for 1 hour 45 minutes. With the speaker and the projector on max brightness, it got just under an hour of life. over all this in a great little gadget.
