Speaker Plugs For 727 Pioneer Receiver

My Pioneer SX-727 interconnect jacks are very close together making the use of quality interconnects impossible. These Switchcraft plugs have a much narrower barrel diameter, thus eliminating the issue. I clipped the original plugs off of my interconnects and soldered these on - easy-peasy.

Purchased these for our Church and found they are better than those previously purchased as the Receiver Plugs are now gold plated.

I bought the Yamaha A-S301 to replace an aging 1998 Pioneer receiver. The Yamaha delivers more solid bass. Perhaps less treble, but less treble distortion. For example, you can distinguish between different crash or ride cymbals. Horn sections are very clear, without harshness. I listen mostly to CDs, so the optical input is nice. I use efficient Klipsch R-820F tower speakers, so the Yamaha has plenty of headroom.

I replaced an ancient Pioneer receiver with this one and couldn't be more pleased. The up-to-date features like Bluetooth are are a big plus, especially at the price point. As a retired choral and instrumental conductor, I wanted the best I could afford.

This unit replaced my failing Pioneer receiver. After much research, the great reviews and the price point of this unit were the selling factors for me. The Sony is easy to set up and I am very happy with my purchase. The Sound from my surround sound speakers is much better than with the older unit I had. This Sony is a great product for a very reasonable cost.

Was a Pioneer fan boy till their Elite receiver and Blu Ray player failed me after 2 yrs of usage. Read allot of recommendations about Denon and decided to try their 5.2 A/V receiver offering. My 'Sierra 2' sounded so alive and present now with the headroom to go more. What a difference in sound.

This combo set is a perfect fit for my video gear. I especially like the design of the receiver unit, it plugs right in to the camera or field recorder without taking up any space and hardly adds any weight to the rig. I'm still getting the hang of the settings for the sound but I've had no drop out or feedback issues with either the mic or lav components. I'm on the verge of ordering a second set. B&H delivered on time to Hawaii and the equipment was well packed for the long journey.

You get what you pay for. This mic is amazing. I LOVE the rotating receiver. Plugs nicely into my Canon C100 mii and I don't have to worry about having a clunky receiver on the hot shoe. Pairs seamlessly and runs on 10 hour battery from mini usb charge. GREAT design and top notch sound from Sennheiser.

I have been testing a lot of speakers with the kind of music I listen to, mostly Classical, Pop, R&B, Jazz and all genres of Indian music. I do blind test, that means I actually blind fold few audiophile friends and play all kinds of songs that we listen to. Out of all the speakers I tested (Klipsh, Pioneer (by Andrew Jones), Polk, JBL, Elac), I found the Sony SSC-S3 speakers the best. I don't understand how Sony could design and build a speaker for this price. It is quite astonishing! The other speakers are much more expensive and they lack clarity. I felt that most of the other brand speakers (except the Pioneer SP-FS52) are probably good for boom-boom Home theatre kind of content. I liked the Pioneer a lot but the Sony is much better than that. What surprises me is the crispness, clarity, detail that the Sony speakers are able to produce. It is astonishing! Hats off to the designers, engineers and the entire team that built this Speaker. I have a serious suggestion for Sony: Why don't you print the name of the person(s) who designed the SSC-S3 speakers on the box and the speaker? The person or people behind such a great speaker deserve a lot of recognition. I sincerely hope you will follow my suggestion. Thanks SSC-S3 team and Sony.
