I bought a reputable sub from Elac, and for years was underwhelmed. It never occurred to me that the carpet may have been an issue as the speaker projects down. I considered that the sub was not working correctly, but it too much water had passed under the bridge to request a refund. The platform brought the sub to full functioning. I was able to successfully adjust it, and now have much improved bass. Who would have thought? I guess the people that designed the platform. 5 |

I am very pleased with these speaker stands. They are pretty sturdy being used on bare floor. Haven't tried them on carpet yet, but they come with extra feet that have spikes for carpet use. The stands look real nice as well. I'm happy with this purchase. Thanks B&H! 5 |
