Speakers For Baritone Guitar

I have only used these speakers once but suffice it to say I am very impressed with sound level and quality of sound!! I play in a three piece wedding band, drums, bass and guitar.  I had a gig at an outside venue and decided to test these speakers out there.  I had been led to believe the venue was smaller and guests would number about 150.  When I got there the place was bigger than I expected and there were a bit more than 200 guests. To top it off, the dance floor was located a ways from the band. When I fired them up and did the sound check I knew that the speakers were going to handle the event just fine. I used a bass drum mic and an overhead for the drums.  I also put the guitar and  and a little bass guitar through the speakers.  These speakers put out some surprising  volume and quality sound. The vocals sounded very nice and clear. Granted, these speakers are and upgrade from the $800 to $900 per speaker I was using, but nevertheless these Yamaha bring the volume and quality of sound that IS the next level. I can only Imagine how they sound with the Yamaha subs which I plan on getting soon. I am very satisfied with my purchase. And bottom line, these speakers make my band sound better, and that is good for business.

I am a solo acoustic guitar musician and I used these for the first time last Saturday. I played at a medium size club and with the height adjustment I was able to elevate the speakers over everybody in the building. This helped in controlling feed back, which is always a problem with a acoustic guitar. I can't say enough about the ease of raising 60 pound speakers with one hand, the power asist is awesome!

I use the SM57 for recording guitar amps, speakers in isolation cabinets and snare drums. Excellent construction and performance and Shure has kept the price at $99 for as long as I can remember. An excellent tool for recording.

I play bass guitar in a oldies rock n roll band. Brought two two Sonos speakers then added the mini sub. I'm now hearing clean crisp highs and subtle bass I didn't know was even. The best speaker system I've ever owned.

The sound quality out of my PC speakers increased signficantly. The guitar was far sharper, and the voice had good seperation. Before, it was as everything was muddled together. Thanks to monister way back in 99 for teaching me the effects of good wires on so so speakers.

Remember when you used to sit in class, and everyone was supposed to be working on a written assignment? The room would be mostly quiet, with the scratching of pencils on paper... and then you'd hear the intercom switch on. You'd get a couple seconds of faint hiss, followed by a slightly distorted announcement about the lunch menu, then the system would click back off. THAT is exactly what this amp is designed to do - amplify things to a decent level at very low cost (therefore, the noticeable hiss). I built a quirky little custom guitar speaker cabinet with a 3x3 array of 4.5 Jeep Cherokee factory speakers. I was going to use it as an extension cab, then found this little gem. I figured I'd turn my cab into a full-fledged combo. After rewiring the speakers to 2 4-ohm stereo sets, I plugged this amp in, hooked up my guitar (through the mic jack), and the rest is history. The sound is of acceptable quality while at normal practice / listening volume. When I crank it up to about half way on the mic knob, the loud hiss starts (even with all knobs at 0 volume on my guitar and pedals). 10% THD is VERY high compared to most guitar amps, but it was a great deal, compared to buying an AC-to-DC converter and using a car amp which was my original plan. You simply won't find a little amp that does what this one does, for any cheaper.

This bag is good quality, fits my Kala Baritone Uke SCAC-B perfectly and the sides stand up, so it doesn't collapse too flat, offering more protection.

I sing and play a baritone ukulele at senior living centers, many of which have no sound systems at all. The Pyle Pro Amp system is perfect. I have a contact mike on my Ike that I plug into the mike input of the amp. The volume is adjustable and the sound is strong and clear, with no hum or feedback. I use the wireless headset for my voice, whose volume is independently adjustable. It’s a little tricky to adjust the headset for the most natural sound (without howling or a tubby, echoing sound), but once you do, it is stable and sounds fine. I typically run on AC line power, but have run on the recharable battery on occasion, and it worked perfectly throughout a 1.5 hour set. The bass range of output is relatively weak, as might be expected given the size of the unit. But given the features, and performance, it is a tremendous bargain!!!!!

I am a professional opera singer, and I want to capture my bass-baritone voice in a small space without it sounding too crisp and treble heavy. This mic captures my full spectrum with a nice warm natural quality. I'm improving my placement and studio space so I can add reverb to simulate the large halls that are best for operatic voices. The mic is very sensitive and picks up well at 12-18 away without much room noise. It sounds like me when I'm listening. It's connected to a Tascam DR44w recorder with 48v. The build quality is very nice, but I am always gentle with it and mindful of storing it upright because of the fragile ribbon.

I have been recording extensively with this microphone from bass/baritone male voice to female delicate voices, needless to say it's a highly detailed response for this price range, it's flattering in most tones without coloring too much your sound, it's been a joy to use and I seriously considered purchasing other models but couldn't be happier with my choice. Thanks Audio Technica and B&H for outstanding structure and in-store service that made me do a good choice for my needs
