I would like to see Sonos make speakers for Computers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made this purchase for the purpose of having one monitor with dual functionality for work and personal use instead of cluttering my workspace with multiple monitors. I love the versatility of being able to view multiple computers at once. The picture is awesome depending on the ratio settings. I had to play around with the settings a bit to get the resolution I like - but it is doable. I love the backlight accent that serves as a nightlight and creates a mellow ambiance in my workspace in the evening. The main reason I purchased this particular monitor was due to the split screen capability that allows me to run multiple computers. I do wish it had more than one HDMI port capability, but I was able to work with my docking stations and an adapter to overcome that obstacle. No issues with too much heat coming from the monitor with long usage during the day and throughout the evening. Would definitely recommend for a person looking to enhance their space and declutter. I was able to almost match the length of my desk so it looks really nice. I also purchased a mount to raise it off my desktop which allows for additional space and provides a sleek look. I am very happy with my purchase and I am learning more features as I continue to work with it. I cannot provide much feedback from a gaming perspective since I did not purchase it for that purpose, nor am I an avid gamer. The graphics for the few PC games I do play are wonderful; very crisp and detailed; no lag.

I'd been wanting this for years, once I finally installed it. I don't even notice it. But it saves me tons of time and from ruining my connectors from switching between computers. The only draw back I've found is, there's no software to help you customize the programing. This only applies to advanced users. The product works great. But to change settings there are keystrokes to enable certain features. I was hoping for a little program that just had check boxes to let you select how buttons switched, or be able to change the keystrokes to switch computers from the keyboard. Now you have to change the settings by confusing and non-memorizable 3-5 button keystrokes.

We use these on carts with computers and DVD players to switch which device goes to the speakers mounted on the cart. It does that job very well. It also came with a strip of 3M Dual-Lock (basically plastic velcro) to attach it to a surface, which was very useful for us to attach it to the cart. I just wish it was cheaper. It costs around 6x what the parts it is made of cost. I would be happier if all three plugs were on the back instead of on three separate sides. It looks very messy the way it is.

My workstation consists of many computers and one set of high end desktop speakers. having access to quickly control the volume and having them out to one set of speakers is exactly what I needed. This does exactly that. I just wish I had thought to come look for this sooner. The only gripe (and it is really nothing more than a gripe), is that I wish the inputs were either on the side or back, having the cords coming out the front is not great for the aesthetic.

I'm enjoying this monitor for the work I do with photographs and CAD. I've been working with computers since 1988 and this is the best monitor that I have used. Partly it's because of the size but I'm pleased with the color quality and the resolution as well. I would highly recommend this especially for the price. The only downside, which is not an issue for me, is the speakers which quite frankly, suck. Just add external speakers and you have the best of both worlds.

Decided to buy a discrete system after having bad luck with a soundbar system from a four-letter (!) manufacturer. No regrets! Treated myself to a Sony STR-DH790 7.2-Channel A/V Receiver, the floor speakers in this review, a set of Sony SS-CSE Atmos speakers, the Sony SA-CS9 10 115W Subwoofer, Sony SS-CS8 2-Way Center Channel Speaker, a set of Sony SS-CS5 3-Way Bookshelf Speakers for the rear... These speakers sound really great in the system in our living room. You can listen to them at a low level and they give a detailed sound image, or you can blast them loud for that I am there - feeling without any distortion (that I can hear - granted, I stayed below the pain threshold for volume...). You DO need to take your time to adjust the settings in the receiver to get the best sound image in the room. If you take your time and go through all the settings and figure out all the settings/options on the receiver, the end result will NOT disappoint you. Have not watched/listened to a lot of movies yet, but my favorites so far are Das Boot and the end live-concert of Bohemian Rhapsody... The concert scene puts you in the middle of the audience - I can play that concert over and over just to be immersed in it.

The speakers are strong enough to handle light vocals, keyboards and a drum machine/bass mix. I use two units to take advantage of the stereo functionality this allows. The portability is great. I have a 130 Watt-Hour battery that can run both units for 2+ hours so I can take them anywhere. Its nice having channel-volume and EQ knobs easily accessible on the front of the units. The speakers are very responsive to modest changes in bass/treble settings. So far I haven't had to use maximum volume settings - the speakers seem very efficient. I would recommend two.

The system was easy to put together maybe 15 minutes. The rear speakers and subwoofer paired easily. The system performs as expected and sounds great. Love the surround sound and different settings.. Although it would be nice to have 4k video transfer with the WOWCAST system, the system is very impressive. I have large room and the AI room analyzer worked and was very easy. I seen some reviews of people disappointed but they may have not downloaded the LG Soibdbar App. The settings out of the box include the soundbar performing excellent, the subwoofer performs well, but the setttings for the rear speakers are low. So to increase the power and sound to them tge LG App is required. The eArc capabilities work perfectly and I can watch 4k Dolby Vision or HDR 10, but prefer Dolby Vision because it has msny more colors. Sturdy quality build, definitely worth the money. One tip in order to update the software and adjust power to the speakers the LG Soundbar app is required.and perfirms as a form of sound levels coming from the speakers. Almost like an equalizer but not exactly.

I've played my Les Paul thru it, my classical/electric thru it, sang thru it & listened to YouTube thru it. This EON is incredible. The 8" woofers put out ear-piercing 300 watts of sound. Plenty for any backyard party or indoor party. The settings include reverb for balancing any tone needed. Even though you can play your electric axe thru it, the EON is not designed for this. My Les Paul sounded too bright, even after adjusting the EQ settings. You can get by if you need a quick plug-in to work on a song without plugging into another amp. Each channel has its own settings. The EON is very portable & snaps together nicely in a suitcase-style fashion, making it easy to carry, set up & take down. The headphone input is nice & puts out great sound, just like the speakers. I keep the mixer & speakers apart in the bedroom for solitude practicing & listening to YouTube. Then, I just snap it all together & go. When I discovered this had Bluetooth, I was sold right there! You can play along with any song thru your mobile device. The Bluetooth does not interfere with my XViVe U2 wireless transmitter & receiver. Vocally, the sounds are awsum, too. The accompanying AKG vocal mic works brilliantly! The speakers have a 38mm pole socket for mounting onto speaker poles for maximum outreach. They're also light enough to sit on any cabinet or table. The 2 speaker cables, wall cable, AKG mic & mic cord all fit in a nice, stow-away compartment behind the mixer. Bottom line: I recommend this for any singer-songwriter, DJ, or party host. The price is worth it with the Bluetooth capability.
