Spectrum 802.11 Ax Router

Upgraded from 802.11ac router and wireless network was dramatically improved - both speed and reliability. Gigabit FiOS was previously bottle necked by old router but now getting much closer to advertised numbers. No longer having issues with mult computers accessing VPNs and/or simultaneous Zoom calls. Set-up took a few tries but now very reliable. Very happy with upgrade.

I have used routers from Netgear, Linksys, and others for years. They all seem to die after a year or so. The newer ones with more CPU usually overheat, become unreliable, and have not had predictable throughput. Eventually I buy a new router. I do not mind the upgrade, but the high-speed routers from other brands typically are twice the price. This router so far has given repeatable performance. The old router often reached 74Mbps but dipped and slowed (802.11ac PC). The Archer A73X transfers at a steady 80MB/s or more, no dips. I upgraded my other PC with a TP-Link WiFi 6E AX5400 PCIe WiFi Card (Archer TXE75E) to take advantage of 802.11ax. Although predicted for higher speeds it does reach 110MB/s reliably in my system. The only thing I find is the wireless coverage is better and worse depending upon device. I have an older tablet that is not as fond of the Archer A73X and drops connection. As mentioned, the two main PCs above are stable and reliable. Hope it doesn't die like the others. A month in, so far, so good.

This router is a great router combo at an affordable cost. Works well with Spectrum!

I just got my new RT-AX 57 ASUS router. I am replacing a 2019 ASUS model. It still works fine. It is just time to update it.

The ASUS ZenWiFi AX is a strong and fast router. A great purchase that has many helpful features that serve my family well.

Replaced a budget brand AX router that could not handle multiple streams. The other router would freeze and crash about 5or 6 times a day. I remedied this by going with the brand I knew would have a quality product and rock solid performance. What a game changer. Performs well out of the box. Configureable to all my needs. Able to stream to all our internet hungry devices with hiccup. Would recommend to friends, and would buy again if stolen.

This new router is even better than the prior model the AX-88U which was the best router I had ever owned until now. First, this router is very easy to set up and control. ASUS interface could not be easier or more stable. Second, this router exceeds the speeds advertised by my internet provider and consistently maintains these speeds. I even set up dual WAN and the router is working perfectly. Dual WAN was the main reason I upgraded as the Dual WAN settings were not working correctly with the prior model.

I had an old Nighthawk 9000 router that wasn’t getting very fast download speeds. When I changed it to the AX 6600 my speeds are up there around 875 mbps, no buffering using Spectrum streaming TV app.

I upgraded my router from spectrum base model to this lovely nighthawk.. I was noticing lagging and traffic usage was slowing my spectrum router down.. the nighthawk router help my speeds by 200 mps but lowered my ping and can use all my devices without lag spikes! Most get in modem and routers
