Spectrum Access Hard Drive Through Router

This is a sleek router with a beautiful interface and overall great functionality. I researched quite a bit to find a router which would cover my home and minimize, hopefully get rid of dead spots. This is a solid solution if hard wiring access points in a home is not viable. While you mayhave a small impact on speed/latency, it is relatively unnoticeable. IF you are able to use hard wire connections, then Ubiquiti access points or other whole home wifi systems may be worth looking into. However, this provides such a simple, clear, and easy solution that hardwiring can be avoided. The system comes with 3 items - 1 router and 2 mesh points. Placing the router centered in the home, and a mesh point on each end allows for maximum coverage over a larger area. I can now get Wifi all over my front and back yard, to the neighbors next door and across the street. You can even add additional mesh points down the road if necessary, or even another Amplifi router. Highly recommendif you are searching for a whole home wifi solution. *Note you will need available outlets in a good location, to plug in the mesh points, as they stay plugged in the wall.

Have had no problems with this unit as my router. Running 4 cameras, doorbell, and two access points with a 4tb hard drive. Easy to setup if you have a little networking knowledge.

The is a very reliable external hard drive that is perfect for travel. It is important to me to have a drive that I can easily access and rely on when backing up my work on numerous projects. Very compact and fast.

We bought a new hard drive to replace our old one. The new one came and I was staying with my son-in-law that had access to a cable needed to do the data transfer. Everything went well but if we had not been able to use his cable we would have had a harder time doing the replacement.

I bought this to access data from orphan drives taken from my multi-bay external hard drive. It's easy to install a drive in the enclosure and my iMac immediately recognized the drive on startup. I neglected to back up my hard drive and then my computer died. Did some searching on how to remove the hard drive and how to access the hard drive. Docking Station worked great, and it's fast. Got free shipping, and the price was better than Amazon. Very happy to fix my stupidity.

I love this device. I can work from anywhere as it allows me to access all my files from anywhere I have service, and I have the confidence in having a double hard-drive, so I will never lose a file or photo. It's large storage capacity has allowed me to transfer photos and docs from several older devices like a phone and computer I don't use anymore.

Finally a way to turn the i-pad into a useful device! You have access to all the data on the external hard drive via an app. Great. The Apple *genii didn't know how to do it, I do now, thanks B&H!
