Spectrum Cable Box Ethernet Connection

We use these for our timeclocks that are not wifi but have an ethernet cable connection. Works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Connectivity is great! The 3.1 modem is on point with delivering over the 1000/35 I'm subscribed to when using an Ethernet cable every single time. Wifi is good too. The 2.4 signal covers my 1800 square foot home perfectly, even without the satellite. Adding the satellite, I can use my own wifi at my mother-in-law's house next door (believe it or not, I love her being my neighbor lol). The 5 signal doesn't reach quite as far, but it still covers the house well, and on it, I hit about 800/30 in almost all areas of my house including the back yard! Pro's that have specific VPN and/or other advanced needs, this combo will do most, but definitely do your research prior to purchase if you fall into this category! The Orbi App is SOLID. Again, nothing too advanced, but absolutely meets every expectation I'd have of any other brand's app and then some. I'd almost forgotten to mention setup; it's so easy. I connected the power and coaxial cable (not provided), connected via an Ethernet cable, Spectrum automatically detected the modem and asked me to sign into my online account (Spectrum's activation took about 10 minutes), scanned the QR code on the front of the modem using my phone's camera, setup a password, changed the wifi name and password to something I like, and that was that. It took a total of 13 minutes (including Spectrum's 10) to do it all start to finish. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and experience. I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for fast, consistent, and easy internet and wifi!

Very high quality cable that seems like it will last a long time. The ethernet connection has been flawless so far very happy with this cable.

The assembly was easy, and the driver installation was easy, and the ethernet cable connection was easy, and paper roll loading was easy, and then the plotting worked well. Only glitch was the driver software creating two printers, and no documentation on which was which (one was ethernet and one was USB).

I'm using this with my Macbook Air that only has USB-C ports and no ethernet port. This adapter worked right out of the box to give me an ethernet connection. Just plugged the ethernet cable in to the adapter, connected the adapter to the CPU's USB-C port, and my computer connected to my work network flawlessly. The wifi at my work is not great, so this adapter is giving me a fast network connection now through ethernet. I did a speed test and I'm getting approximately 500mbps upload/download speeds with this adapter, which is fantastic. I also appreciate that the adapter has LED indicators. One light shows there is a connection (green). The middle light shows there is power (White/blue). And the 3rd light blinks orange to show there is activity. Having these lights could come in handy if I need to trouble shoot, which is very helpful. The build quality is also really good. This feels like it will last a long time. The cable seems sturdy and the ethernet cable plugs in securely into the adapter's port. Overall, I'm happy with this adapter and it is working very well. Bought this to add another cable tv tuner without getting a cable box. Used as a second tv in a room for sports programs. I couldn’t hook up another cable box in the room for the second tv. Works well with my Spectrum service. I know this is not the normal setup. Most just cut the cable. Downloaded Spectrum app and it works well.

Just bought this streaming stick to use foe Spectrum app. Works great, price is low and very easy to set up. Going to buy more for my other TV sets when Spectrum goes all digital, than we will need a cable box for every TV set. This stick will take the place of a cable box, with no monthly fees.

Not much to say about an ethernet cable, except that it works.

It provided an adequate charge and a stable internet connection without any issues. The adapter was immediately recognized by both devices and there was no need to install any software to make the adapter work.
