Spectrum Router Online But No Wifi

Great switch from the standard router you would rent from Spectrum. Was having issues connecting 2.4ghz devices to the basic router from them. Bought this and didn’t realize how slow my WIFI was with their router. With the AX4200 my wifi speed is amazing, videos stream better than ever, gaming is much easier and I can now connect my Roomba to my wifi. No complaints so far! Their NETGEAR app also has a ton of features, albeit many that I might not use. However, it is nice to have those options! Thank you!

Went from using the Spectrum modem/router combo to the Orbi. Should have done this a long time ago. No more WiFi issues and the speed is 20x faster and way more coverage in the house! Love it!!

I needed a new router that could handle all my devices without slowing down, so I looked online for options and decided to give the NETGEAR Nighthawk AX8 8-Stream AX6600 WiFi 6 Router (RAX70) a try. Setting it up was really easy thanks to the app, and I could even set up parental controls to keep my kids safe online. The speeds were really fast, and I noticed a big improvement from my old router. However, I did notice that the signal wasn't as strong in some parts of my house, like the bigger rooms or outside in the backyard. Overall, I'm happy with the router. It's a great choice for families or anyone who wants a fast and secure WiFi network with lots of features. It's not perfect since the range could be better, but the ease of use and speed make it worth the investment.

I love the Orbi. Easy to set up and no problems so far. I recently upgraded my internet to a 400Gb plan due to Covid working from home and two boys doing school online. I tried another WiFi router but it could not handle the devices and would drop speeds to under 50. I purchased the Orbi based on reviews and watching several videos online. After setup and constant usage, my speeds have not dropped to under 400. The optional security plan is prett food at detecting phishing but will see how that goes. I would recommend the Orbi to anyone looking for a faster WiFi device. I have the three router setup positioned all three floors including the basement work and gaming room. Not a single dead spot and full speed coverage everywhere inside the house and even across the street at my neighbors house.

A good router that give me more speed online. This couples with a netgear WiFi router, will suffice in most homes. Always stick to a name you trust. For me, it's NetGear

Just what I needed. Several times a day I was having wifi drop outs with my current router. I was first using the wifi built into the modem from the cable company. Then added an older AC router as a repeater. Still had issues. But this new mesh style router fixed it all. No more drop outs. The only thing I wish I could do is dedicate the 5G band. I would like to only have the 5G connecting to my TV. But with this router, it automatically switches between the 2.4/5 bands as needed. And finally, the installation and setup was effortless. So simple. I've been a fan of TP-Link for some time. And this just keeps me coming back.

The price of this router along with a few WiFi 7 or 6 access points cost about the same a some of the consumer 3 unit MESH units. But it is faster and has the power to add more APs including outdoor APs. I dose not stop there. You can also add high end cameras without the requirement of a subscription! Also has a number of home security devices that can be added. But if you are only looking for fast high end WiFi it is still a great deal.

Works great. Waiting on a new WiFi router to go with modem didn’t know I had to do that. But it does work great
