Spectrum Router Rent Activation Fee

Great switch from the standard router you would rent from Spectrum. Was having issues connecting 2.4ghz devices to the basic router from them. Bought this and didn’t realize how slow my WIFI was with their router. With the AX4200 my wifi speed is amazing, videos stream better than ever, gaming is much easier and I can now connect my Roomba to my wifi. No complaints so far! Their NETGEAR app also has a ton of features, albeit many that I might not use. However, it is nice to have those options! Thank you!

This router Is way better and cheaper than xfinity router and you dont have to rent it.... enough said

Easy setup (only small delay was with Spectrum activation), great speed (400 Mbps service) and coverage, easy to connect more devices - a great upgrade from our prior modem router!

Always a scary event in updating a modem or router. There was no need for that as the installation and activation using the Xfinity app went smoothly and took, perhaps, only about 10 minutes total. The speed gain brought me up to what I have been paying for, so all's good. On the basis of all this, so far I can recommend it highly.

Saved money by buying my own router opposed to paying the monthly rental fee to my cable company. Family of 5 with no WiFi complaints.

I bought the Netgear Nighthawk router as I was tired of paying a monthly fee to cable company. It was fairly easy to install, and it is working great! I have no issues with the modem router and am so happy to own my own!

Found this to replace my Comcast router because I hate them and their monthly fee. Works perfectly and the app makes it convenient to see who and what’s connected.

We were looking to buy our own cable modem to eliminate the monthly rental fee. We needed one that would handle the 1.2 GPBS service and have a landline phone connection. This was listed on the Xfinity site as being compatible and meeting our requirements. It was simple to swap out our old modem/router and replace it with this and a separate router. The instructions were easy to follow and everything was up and running in a relatively short time. So far, we're very happy with the speed and reliability.
