Spectrum Router Stay Connected For 10 Minutes

This router/modem Orbi system works great with spectrum. Took only a few minutes really to set it up. If it wasn’t for my Obama phone it would have been faster. So far so good! It looks really clean too!

Windows recognized this right way, and I was connected within minutes. Considering the path to the router, through-put is very good.

I'm using the Deco BE10000 (3x BE63s), working with Cox the key is having them get the info for the modem before connecting, once they say your modem is connected on there end have them do a reset before you connect and power on the BE63 that is being used for a router. Once they do your reset to modem and all is solid white, disconnect all cables to your router except the one to your modem and connect power cable to the BE63. Wait for the amber light to go green, will take about 3 minutes. Once your green reconnect the cables you had connected back to the BE63 and wait another five minutes for all your devices to come back online. I have 143 so it took about ten minutes for my long distance AP and devices to all connect and be online with no reboot needed. That has been the best about the DECO 10000 is it heals after a Cox outage really nice.

I live in Florida where we often have thunderstorms with short power-outages (few seconds). Each time my WiFi and router etc would restart... I've bought two BN450M and have connected critical internet equipment to one (router, WiFi, IP-telephone, file servers, total of about 80 Watts), and use the other one for remaining home-automation. I've kept laptops and printer and other power-hungry devices off. I've had the devices for about two weeks and have already experienced several short power-outages, and (HURRAY!) all my connected equipment sailed safely through without any interruption. (The very first power-outage after installation lasted 90 minutes, and that was too much for the capacity of this power-backup, but my intention was just to handle power-outages of less than few minutes, so I'm totally OK with that event!)

I have 10+ Wemo switches in my house. I tried other brands but found Wemo to connect and stay connected extremely well. Also no hub required. Works great with homekit.

Just got my second enclosure kit. It would have taken less than 10 minutes from the time I got it out of the box until I had the drive connected and working if I hadn't forgotten that I needed to initialize it first! Once I did it was smooth sailing. The kit is complete with a spacer that attaches to the drive when a 7mm unit is installed and a magnetic tip screw driver for final assembly of the shell. The rubber jacket provides bump protection and also keeps the unit from sliding around on the desk. The case is plastic and there are no vents, so it's probably a better choice for an SSD than a spinning rust drive. That said however my older enclosure does have a 7200rpm drive in it and I have not had problems with overheating.

The AX1500 was very easy to install (10 minutes). It is paired with a TP-Link AX6000 WiFi 6 router. Vastly improved the WiFi signal at a long distance from the router.

I added a third mesh router to my existing system ( 2 mesh routers and a without a hitch in 10 minutes. Works great!

I replaced an aging Asis modem and Apple AirPort router. Installation took no more than 10 minutes. My download speed more than doubled right away. I’m so happy I bought the Orbi system.

WOW!!! This router increased my WiFi and connected line speed over 10 times its existing speed. It was easy to set up. I just followed its quick start instructions. It does take a little time between instructions to actually make the change. I think that will improve with a few firmware upgrades. If you have the budget to afford this router, definitely get it!!! By the way, this router is VERY LARGE. So you have to have the room to install it.
