This thing is small, fast, and large capacity. The spinning hard drive on my brother's iMac was going bad. Before it could totally go belly up we installed the latest OS on one of these, migrated his data on to it, and then booted from it without any problems. The machine is operating just as fast as before because of the USB 3 interface. Since he lives in a small town, he is running off of it until he can visit me in the big city to get an internal SSD drive installed inside his machine. 5 |
