Square Card Reader Reviews Canada

I received product in intact state. It works very well. Data transfer is very fast. I copied/past 1.1 GB of data from my laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad e550 with core i7 & 16 GB RAM) to microSD via this card reader/writer & operation needed only 36 seconds to be completed. Let we talk about hot point: I saw many reviewers on B&H & Amazon complaining about plugin port of this device to it's USB cable, said that it is very delicate & vulnerable to detachment from motherboard of this card reader & it is very bad .... & so on !! And I was very hesitated to order this card reader due to these FALSE reviews from non-verified buyers ...... But finally, I was brave enough to order it. Now, I can confirm that ALL these negative reviews are incorrect & false! The point where this card reader connected to it's cable is okay! I tried it (connected & disconnected for 13 times) & no problem at all. I tried data transfer after each of these 13 times without any problem. Please appreciate that this device is a pocket card reader not an armored vehicle!! If you deal with it as an armored vehicle, then it will certainly broken in your hand due to your harsh handling! If you handle it smoothly, as it should be, then no problem at all. If you connect/disconnect cable USB cable from this device gently then it will never broken. But, if you do this as if you play rope pull game, then it will certainly damaged - due to your faulty handling! I would like to thank B&H store to make this great card reader available in between my hands. No such card readers with such broad compatibility available in my country, Iraq. I recommend this card readers for every one need to make it's PC of ideal accessories. Finally, it is better for B&H to remove all negative non-verified reviews because they are as simple as such all are false! 5 |

I've had this camera for about a year now and have used it for outdoor photography on climbing and skiing trips where I need something that fits in my pocket. I'm not super camera savvy and so I find that 99% of the time, auto-shooting mode combined with some light Adobe Lightroom post-processing produces exactly the kind of images I'm after. All the 1-star reviews have to do with it's lack of WiFi connectivity. This has nothing to do with the quality of the images produced so these reviews are stupid; I use a card reader and have had no issues. WiFi connectivity with my Mac does indeed not work, but with my iPhone it is seamless when the Canon app is downloaded. I prefer using the card reader anyway. 5 |

I have a Prograde Cobalt 325 CFE card and wanted a fast reader that did not get hot when downloading images. I read lots of reviews of various readers and all of them had at least some complaints of cards and readers getting very hot. However, the Delkin card reader reviews seemed to be the most promising in terms of not getting hot. I can report now that neither the Prograde Cobalt 325 card nor my new Delkin card reader got hot during reviewing and downloading images. The card was just slightly warm to the touch. The download was very fast even using the USB C to USB-A cable. I agree with some other that the little plastic door easily flops open instead of snapping shut. But overall, I'm very pleased with this reader and the low price relative to others on the market! ($54.99 at time of purchase). 5 |

This hub has every kind of port and card reader that you would ever need. It is the top rated hub in many reviews and on many online shopping platforms. My only caveat is that while the hub itself is very compact the power brick that comes with it is not. You will need to allow extra space on your desktop for the power supply but this hub is worth it. 5 |

After reading multiple reviews about this particular card reader I decided it was THE ONE I needed. Of course, so had everyone else and it was back-ordered. I put it on my B+H waitlist and within a few weeks it became available and I bought it before it could get sold out again. I actually owned an XQD card BEFORE the Sony reader, as I bought the XQD card when it was on sale. If you shoot a lot of photos the XQD card is a necessity. The fact that this reader could also read CF express cards was a plus. 5 |
