I have two of these Kupo stands (Kupo Baby Kit Stand with Square Legs (13'). I also own Matthews C-Stands, Beefy Baby stands, various Manfrotto stands. These Kupo stands are handing because they have a wide base and an articulating leg. This is the main reason I bought them. I can use these with lights and strobes without a sandbag for most applications. I wouldn't load these Kupo stands with heavy grip equipment like overheads or long boom arms. You should invest in heavier stands for that purpose. You don't want to risk a stand with equipment falling on a client. Use the right stand for the intended purpose and get some sandbags. I would buy these Kupo stands again. 5 |

I wanted a light stand that was very strong but not as heavy as a C-Stand. This is perfect! I LOVE the square legs! Very sturdy. The whole stand is well made and solid. There are even some tabs that you pull on to help collapse the stand that are very handy. BUY this stand if you want a rock solid light stand. 5 |

Can't go wrong with this stand. The legs are large gauge square tubular steel, rock solid stuff. That is probably where most of the weight is honestly. The rest is mostly aluminum but is robustly built. Even looking at the mounting pin I am impressed. Even though my last stands were only like $50 before this they're not even worth that I realize. I don't want to bad mouth other brands on this website but I think you know who I am talking about.... The idea that you could put 20lbs on some of those other stands is a joke. Anyway, not going to point fingers just gonna say I won't be wasting time and money on lesser made products. (Sorry if that seems arrogant) 5 |

This stand is great for it's price. Nice and light and strong. In between a steel stand and a light aluminum kit stand. The square legs are great. Has flex in the risers, but that is to be expected with a light aluminum stand. Getting 3 more. 5 |

I got this to fit a Square Stand, iPad, and all the chargers, etc, needed to take credit cards at a booth. Everything fit well after making the spaces by pulling out the tear apart foam blocks. To have a holding space for the iPad, after making a square space to fit, i took scissors and cut the removed foam block height by a small amount to put back on top of iPad. Worked great. Handle locks both extended out and retracted. Wheels great. 5 |

This is a well made accessory. I am using it on top of the Kupo Baby Kit Stand with Square Legs (9.5'). The fit is perfect. Works exactly as I wanted to offset whatever gear I mount on the stand a bit. 5 |

I bought a set of these 25.4mm wheels for square legs. I am using it with Impact lowboy 6.5’ combo stand. Only thing is having wheels increase footprint diameter by about a foot. Removing them is not hard but you do need two wrenches. The wheels have extensions so that the combo stand can stand upright which is handy! Brakes work solid. Well-made professional quality! 5 |

I have had the 9 foot version of this stand which is an excellent stand especially for indoors. That version has a bit of a narrow leg spread diameter so you really have to sandbag it outdoors. This taller version has a much wider spread and has all the great features i love in the other version. The square legs seem to give a better grounding and the "rocky mountain" extendable leg is very very useful on uneven ground or on steps. Also being an owner of a similar Avenger stand, I would say this is an especially great option as it is cheaper than the avenger stands and in my opinion a better stand. It is also a pound lighter than the Avenger option although this is still a heavy stand at around 8lbs or something like that. Im currently phasing out my lighter manfrotto stands for these stands gradually. Although, i will say for on location work where i can't bring too much gear i still use the manfrotto stackable stands as they fit in my bag, but compared to this stand they are a pain to use. If you are looking for one or two stands that can handle many different situations, you can't go wrong with one of these 2 models of Kupo square leg stands. I write these reviews on occasion when I feel like my own trial and error, or experience can save other's some time or money trying to find the right fit for them. So i hope this info helps some of you. 5 |

The Kupo Baby Kit Stand with Square Legs (9.5') was exactly was I wanted. It's sturdy and the legs are adjustable for uneven ground. Highly recommended. 5 |
