Ssd Disk Benchmark

I plugged this NVMe into the NUC 11 (NUC11ATKPE). I had a well-known 1TB SSD in the NUC before dropping in this one, so I had a benchmark of sorts. With this SSD, I believe the NUC 11 ran a bit faster. It wasn't a dramatic difference, but perceptible. Another plus was the Crucial cost of this 2TB Crucial drive was only about 30% more. Very satisfied. 5 |

Does exactly what it's supposed to. I use it to connect an external SSD for use as a scratch disk. 5 |

It works not just great, but it is a necessity if I am to be able to use my new backup SSD disk drive. What else is there to say? It works. 5 |

Was able successfully clone Windows from original hard-disk and replace it with this OWC SSD on my new laptop. Time will show how long it will last - but having OWC SSDs on my MacPro2008 and MacPro2010: Bravo OWC! 5 |

I just setup a 64TB disk array with thunderbolt 3 connection and it is half as fast as this little powerhouse! I should have purchased more of these instead. It is amazing how fast the SSD drive in this tiny LaCie Rugged 2TB SSD Pro really is. I can edit anywhere now on my 16 MacBook Pro M1 Max laptop. 4K video plays back beautifully. I'm using the 64TB array now to sync with this as a backup. :) LaCie SSD Pro Thunderbolt 3 Rugged Rocks! 5 |

It has been running pfsense for over a year without any issues. Paired with 8BG of Crucial memory and an SSD disk is powerful enough to run three INLINE interfaces of Snort and also pfBlockerNG. 5 |

Outstanding disk performance in both Windows and VMware (ESXi) environments. These are ideal in 8-to-5 shops having 24x7 systems as the SYSVOL because they have no moving parts. The SYSVOL remains active after the larger physical disks spin down after a period of inactivity. The lifespan of these SSD is quite long when used in systems with sufficient memory and low paging activity. For home use, they are blazing fast and second only to the M.2 SSDs available for the latest system board hardware. They run very cool. These SSD work well in both conventional BIOS and new UEFI systems. Do not use these SSD in a RAID environment. It is not recommended, and experience shows them to be problematic. 5 |

This is a SATA drive with sequential read/write speed of 560/510 MB/s. It also has DRAM. I use it to replace the mechanical HD disk on my ThinPad P50s which is roughly five years old. Significant performance improvement. Mainstream consumer grade SSD, with Acronis True Image for Crucial for whole disk software cloning, which recognizes the SSD automatically (you will need a USB - SATA cable, and I would recommend a clean installation though), and Micron's Storage Executive to monitor the SSD performance and firmware update. 5 |
