Slim and fast SSD drive, excellent for on the go, or as an external drive for desktop/laptop.

I always choose samsung ssd's for upgrades for the speed, quality & price even on lower end laptop upgrades.

I got it for my laptop which has 2 SSD slots, It's very fast and even my other SSD is a Samsung one, never faced any problems with SSD

I already had some basic Samsung SSD's installed on both my desktop and laptop and already are pretty fast, but decided that I would try it on my desktop PC just to see how much faster it would be. The booting and loading differences are like night and day. It can handle more commands with the newer controller's larger I/O queues and also helping with power consumption. The new tech for temperature control is top notch and only adds to its overall value. Make sure that you have a good cooling system installed. Transferring files have improved and my gaming feels buttery smooth. I suggest installing Samsung's Magician software for even more hands-on and control of your SSD. I am undoubtedly beyond pleased. 2 thumbs up!

This SSD is fast and easy to install to either a laptop or a compatible desktop motherboard. I have it installed in my Dell Precision 7550 laptop, to replace the older 1TB SSD that was there. Just clone your existing (OS) SSD to this new WD_BLACK SN850X, then update BIOS settings accordingly and you are good to go.

Load times for my games have been non-existent, and with the SSD being 2 TB, I won't have to worry about running out of space so soon. Installation was a breeze, so I recommend this as a beginner SSD for those that want to have a good amount of storage for not an outrageous price.

This thing is great if you wish to upgrade a laptop or desktop that currently is using an HDD. This ssd will make boot times great and just overall system use feel more responsive. The only downside I have is it isn't the greatest ssd for pure speed but, for the price you are paying it is well worth it.

This exceptional small SSD is used as the main drive for my desktop and then thrown in my bag for use with my laptop - so that I'm always using the same files without duplication. I've used LaCie drives - dare I say - for over a decade and, yeah, love 'em. So far - after all these years I've never experienced a problem! But they are backed up in triplicate!

I bought this WD 2TB My Passport drive because I had already bought a 1 TB for my laptop and really liked it's size and usability. The 1 TB I bought while in Florida to back up (clone) the SSD. It fits easily in my laptop carry bag. When I got home, I really needed one for my desktop SSD as I had been using a full-sized WD HD & always had to attach a clumsy connector device. This one is SO MUCH EASIER! Plug it in and run my cloning software. BTW, I have ALWAYS used WD drives because I had a failure with another MAJOR brand and I couldn't get satisfaction for their service department. I have 4 always connected to my desktop for photo backups, and a couple of loose, bare drives.
