Stacks Of Paper As Studio Monitor Stand

I was able to try samples of this paper withou spending a fortune on stacks of it... 5 |

As simple as this thing is, it does an incredible job and cutting multiple types of paper and stacks of it. 5 |

Studio, I've used it with paper and muslin with no sagging. Very strong stand. 5 |

I use two of these in slave mode for studio extreme macro photography using an automated rail to create stacks of images. (The master flash is an old Canon MT-24ex.) I was using a couple of cheap Mieke speedlites, but their output was inconsistent producing varied exposures between images. The MF12s are very consistent and the final images from my recent stacks are much improved. I have heard that this model may not have the best reliability and durability, and that Godex doesn't have the best customer service. Thus far, I haven't confronted these issues. I am currently pleased with these flashes. 5 |

stacks, a little heavy though, does the job, 5 |

This stand stacks well and is a very sturdy stand for the height. I use it with some strobes and umbrellas and feel much more confident that my strobes and the stands aren't going anywhere. The stacking feature is great for transporting and storing them. I picked up the Hakuba PSTC 400 Stand Case which has plenty of room for these stands, umbrellas and would comfortably hold up to about 4 of these. 5 |

I am using this Jaw Grip in a rather unconventional way. I recently purchased a Flanders Scientific DM240 with the C Stand mount and in an effort to reduce the workload when moving the monitor from filming studio to Color Correcting Suite, I decided to try this Jaw Grip out as a desk stand. I have to say that it has worked beautifully. It allows me to quickly and easily remove the monitor from my desk and drop it onto a rolling c stand. Not sure anyone else is doing this but I suggest giving it a try if you have a suite and a studio in close proximity. 5 |

I initially purchased this to mount a talent monitor on it for a studio shoot. Instead of paying 1K for a talent monitor that matched my teleprompter, I bought this stand and mounted one of my studio monitors with a vesa mount. The entire set up was still less than buying the talent monitor. I also used this recently on a photo shoot to mount my flash. The only down side to using it as a flash mount is that it only goes up to 6 feet. It worked fine for that particular shoot, but I could have use another 1-2 feet to get the proper 45 degree angle I wanted for my subject. The images turned out great, but I will go back to my c-stands and sand bags. This stand is solid enough to mount almost anything on it. Well worth the price. 5 |

I've been needing a rolling stand to hold a director's monitor for studio use for a while now. Saw this one. Got it. Works great. Well built. Legs collapse quick and easy for transport and storage. Fair price for the quality. 5 |
