Standalone Bluetooth Microphone

It's a beautiful microphone. I bought it because I wanted something clean that I could distort according to my needs in post and this has that flexibility as well as having a standalone beautiful sound.

I bought this primarily to use as an off-camera microphone for my D7000. I have been using it for that as well as for standalone audio recording and the audio is great. Most of my testing so far has been recording at church services and a wedding. It runs on AA batteries, so it is easy to power on the go. It has quite a few options for audiophiles that I have not delved into such as locut filters and such. There are also features for musicians such as a metronome and audio tuner. It will support up to a 32GB SD card, so you can do quite a bit of recording if you need to. Another feature I found is that it will also act as a USB microphone for your computer. I hooked it up to my Linux workstation and set it to Audio I/O mode and PulseAudio picked it right up as a mic to use. The only cons I can come up with after working with it for a couple weeks are that 1. The accessory kit is separate, and 2. Sometimes it is TOO sensitive (which basically means you need to learn to place it correctly and set the audio recording pattern and levels properly for your situation).

I bought this as a replacement for an expensive bluetooth mic, and I was surprised by the high quality of this microphone.

I always wanted a small portable PA system, with battery and enough power. Finally, I found it, plus extras that I did not care before, such as a wireless system and Bluetooth. The specific usage is for Christmas Caroling, to play the music tracks for the choir of about 20 people. Expedition XP106 met and exceeded my expectations. It has plenty power (100 watts), a clear and well balance output, and two features that make caroling a breeze. The music tracts can be in my iPhone, which can be sent them to the unit via Bluetooth with no wiring in between, plus, this units comes with a wireless microphone with a small receptor which it is connected to the back of the unit, via USB. The sound of the microphone is very natural and can be played (as we tested, from around 20 feet. The charge, according to the manufacturer can last up to 20 hours, all in a compact unit that is easy to carry and set. Nothing is perfect, thou. I would love to have at least a three points equalizer. I don't think there is a similar unit that matches its specs, including brand name recognition. Great unit. Love it.

Just what I needed to connect a Bluetooth wireless microphone system into a standard large amplifier and speakers.

I record memorial services for veterans who have passed away. I will use this with the 4K 60fps video on my Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max. I have been using it for a little while and it’s great! The app adds some features and functionality as well. Definitely worth it!

Almost the perfect headset: Bluetooth with my Ipad or my Cellphone, USB w/ my Computer for Skype. Excellent microphone for conversation. Only thing missing would be a way to switch between 2 Bluetooth source

Purchased this unit specifically for the bluetooth wireless format for my AX-100 Sony 4K camera microphone input. I also have a Sony bluetooth pair ECM-W1M where the receiver is mounted on the Multi-Interface shoe. This ECM-AW4 is very flexible because you can use it with the cameras microphone input jack which I need on my other cams that don't have a Multi-Interface shoe. Another great thing is that these units can be just used as a wireless communication device with another person. The sound quality is great and the range and speed of connection is very good. Battery life is also very good.

Wired microphone I already had was a plug and talk. I am looking forward to my first meeting, where I will show off my JBL Partybox On-the-Go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first portable Bluetooth speaker. The voice quality is amazing and soo is the microphone feature on it. I can easily use it with my phone and I like that I can mute the microphone. The volume level goes upto pretty high and the bass is perfect. The buttons are easy to operate and the size is very nice. Battery life so far is very impressive
