Staples Camera Brand Olympus Waterproof

I use this to hold my waterproof Olympus Tough TG-2 while kayaking. Everybody who sees it marvels at the uncomplicated and easy to use design, which allows solid hands-free filming but also drops the camera face down at pull of a tab to turn video on/off, check images, or frame a still, zoom, etc. I tell them it is just as great as it looks. Feels totally comfortable and secure, fits smoothly overtop of my life jacket with good range of adjustment, gives me needed access with no fuss detaching from screw mount to hand camera to others. My one suggestion for improvement: make screw mount bolt from stainless, rustproof materials. Very hard to clean out all water after a day of action, and grease or oil don't mix with my camera or other apparel. Overall I would say this rig beats GoPro hands down, and others who see me using it agree. (I did try GoPro system first, sent it back). This one is a keeper!

I wanted a simple, nice-looking, responsive, waterproof bag for carrying just a camera with a lens attached. There needed to be room for a spare SD card, battery and lens cloth. In my case the camera and lens in question is an Olympus OM-5 (they are all the same size) and Olympus 12-40mm f2.8. This fits perfectly with room for pretty much nothing else - and that's what I had in mind. I'm not sure Think Tank is still making these but they are good.

I bought a Filson waterproof bag so I could take my Olympus camera with me in the canoe. I needed to add padding to the bag to protect the gear; and give it a fitted resting place. The foam insert for a Pelican 1400 waterproof box fit perfectly and did the job.

I recently had a kayak race in mid-Missouri and wanted to take my waterproof Olympus camera, I charged the battery overnight and tried it the next day. Only to find that the battery wouldn't hold a charge! This model (850SW) has been replaced by newer models so the battery isn't one that you can go to a big box store and pick one up (although those stores did carry take model at one time). Works well at one third the price of Olympus brand.

Feeds great, however it does not remove staples. Staples must be removed before inserting in input tray.

A lot cheaper than the Olympus brand and works well.

Better than Staples or products on-line.

This is a back-up (2nd battery) for my pocket camera (Olympus Stylus 770 SW) that I take everywhere and it takes the abuse (shock, water, mud, cold, etc.). I originally purchased an off Brand ... (cheaper) and It worked OK for awhile, but the original OEM battery is still going strong and the off Brand died (actually it lost charge quickly for some time before completely giving up the ghost). So now I purchased an OEM replacement and if this one works as well as the first OEM one, then I may not have to buy another battery for this camera for a long time.

LOVE THIS CAMERA It is a wonderful camera, it has very professional features for a beginner level camera, it is my first Olympus and I think that if the brand maintains this level I will stay with this brand.
