I had debated whether to go for the refurbished instead of new but decided it was worth it to save almost $300. The fact it was Nikon Refurbished and therefore has a Nikon Warranty means the extra warranty protection from my credit card should also apply. Well I got my camera and except for the fact that it wasn't in the pretty gold box, it looks jut like new - My first picture was shutter activation #1! I am very happy about my purchase and am having fun learning about all of the new features compared to my old D90. I took a group picture at my Rotary Club meeting using the Nikon SnapBridge and was even able to adjust the exposure to compensate for backlighting. 5 |

I couldn't find this cartridge anywhere in my area. A young man in Staples gave me the sight to order from B&H. Thank goodness, I found my printer cartridge I needed. Okay, I admit it. When I read other people's reviews about the speed of this thing, I kept thinking who cares? I never once looked at my ix500 and wished that it was faster. But the ix1600 not only has a very handy LCD screen, it really is noticeably faster. And now that I have it, the ix500 is dead to me. Also, this thing is very forgiving when I accidentally try scanning things that have staples. I do my best to remove staples, but I occasionally miss one and it has a fairly nice process for restarting mid-scan. 5 |
