Does it have a button to take picture/start recording close to the grip?

Love this thing. Have no doubt it will save wear and tear on my D750 body. This WILL work with a battery pack, if you are brave enough to do some trimming. I screwed the pack partially into place, then trimmed the cover with an Xacto knife on each end only. Fits and works like a charm now. Do so at your own risk. The one thing I did not like involves the AE/AL button. I have it set to back button focus, and with the cover in place, it is harder to activate. In wildlife photography, I sometimes need to be able to take a shot quickly and I don't want anything slowing me down. So I will trim off the piece that covers that button too. It's a win win though!

Not much to say other than it does what it's supposed to and was reasonably priced. Win-win!

Was looking for a simple to use, automatic (just push start button) turntable that could play my old vinyl records. This unit works perfectly, was easy to set up and sounds great. Brings back so many memories playing those 70s and 80s records.

It works. I do a lot of long exposure photos requiring bulb. This allows you to just press the button to start and end the exposure. I walked about 100 feet away from the camera, did a two minute exposure, it worked great.

Absolutely love the quality and finishing on this thing. It's the only cage that I know exists, that does not get in the way of installing the DJI wireless microphone device without any extension adapter. Also at the top, the start record button of the camera, is not covered by the cage nor the cold shoe and is easy accessible. The cold shoe is conveniently built away from the start to record button, that way mounted accessories don't interfere with you, when pressing the recording button, like it does in other cages. Well engineered.

I purchased the Moza Air 2 knowing the D500 was not in the compatability list of Nikons but I knew it would at least work for all stabilizer, pan, tilt and so on functions. I purchased this cable hoping it would work for video and to my surprise it does! With the D500 (and probably other models, check your manual it will be in the custom settings under Movie) you can reassign the shutter button to start and stop video recording, the gimbal camera setting needs to be on shutter cable [not] a camera model. Turn on the display live view to video, double tap the power button to start recording and again to stop. I was also surprised to see that I could take photos putting the gimbal camera setting to nikon and using the recommended M3C-micro USB cable as instructed and that I could adjust shutter speed, aperture, and ISO depending on what mode the camera was in.

Take it out of your pocket, open the LCD, find your subject, press a button, start your photographic memories---that's how simple it is with this Minolta MN4K30! Maybe not Academy Award cinematic excellence, but good enough for chuckles at a Xmas family gathering. Microphone not the greatest, though.

I get a very good smooth zoom control on my Sony NX5U. The start/Stop record button works great. I highly recommend this Zoom Controller for all Tripod work.
