Startech Docking Station 3 Monitors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a Plugable USB-C Dual DisplayPort & HDMI Display Docking Station because I upgraded to a laptop with two monitors. This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. I really like that it is light and works nicely with my Chromebook and 2 monitors. The packaging comes with UD-MSTHDC Docking Station, power adapter, USB-C and USB-C cable.

This is another great docking station from Startech.com. Solid build and great ports, including an SD card reader that I really love. This dock worked perfectly for my Windows-based notebook, after installing all the necessary drivers. The issues came up while testing with a Macbook Pro, but I don’t entirely hold the Dock to blame. The issue came from the MacOS version; I upgraded to the very latest version and the chipset isn’t fully supported. Look at the website (support tab) and heed readme files and driver information bulletins, if you are the sort to not jump at the latest updates, you might not have any issues. I fully believe this is a temporary situation and will be solved in short order. This is a solid docking station with a 60 watt power supply, something I think is essential in a one-cable docking solution. Video output is excellent on both HDMI and DP. Great docking station. I use it to display two monitors and the laptop screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a docking station that does it all....dual monitors, Ethernet, power and sound. This one does it and does it well.

I was able to attach three monitors to my Dell Inspiron 17 - 3780 Laptop but I needed two display port to HDMI cables to attach my two HDMI monitors - and when connecting to the Display Ports the one HDMI out on the docking station replicates one of the Display Port outputs... combined with using the HDMI out on my laptop and the screen of my laptop I have four monitors now - it would have been nice to attach five if the HDMI out on the docking station wasn't replicating one of the display port outputs... In any case, the universal dock has been rock solid so far.

This docking station works well to connect my 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse, webcam, and headset.

I bought the HP docking station so that I could connect a company laptop to two 4K curved monitors and a keyboard and mouse plugged into an 4K KVM switch box and it works perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work remotely and working is much more efficient with two monitors. This docking station was the perfect solution right out of the box. It is quick and easy to set up and has no issues running two monitors. For me, this is a must-have for my home office. I would recommend this docking station.
