I bought this for the Sigma FP. And the first thing you have to know is, the cable that comes with it does not fit the FP. You have to buy a cable separately that is HDMI normal at one end, and the micro HDMI at the other, which looks a lot like the old standard USB mini (not micro USB) Once I had the right cable I took it out at night in the snow and it was exceptional compared to the screen on the camera itself. As much as I am loving the Sigma, I find in video and at night it often does not represent the colours correctly on its own screen, although the footage looks great on the computer. But with this extra bright screen, you get the focus lines and accurate colours (more accurate at the very least) and you can stand away from the camera and still use onscreen menus like focus lines. Although I haven't tried the other menu items like level etc. Overall for this price its a fantastic addition to a rig.

I have owned many, many Startech HDMI cables over the years and this one does not disappoint. The cable is excellent. I found the plastic shielding to be very flexible to cable manipulation was great. The connectors ends are solid and I don't see any issue with cable separation or bending at these points. I used this cable with my Samsung bluray and Smart tv and the picture was excellent with no distortion. A great cable at an affordable price. Using the passive display port/hdmi Microsoft adaptor, I could only get 1080 out of a 4k monitor hooked up as a secondary monitor for my Surface Book. Plugged in the active display port adaptor from Startech and problem solved. Took my Surface Book and Startech adaptor to Best Buy and tried multiple 4k monitors to decide which to buy and everyone worked perfectly at 4k resolution.

The startech USB 3.0 to 2.5 sata III drive adapter cable works real' y well fast and very reliable strongly recommend.

IMHO StarTech makes good USB cables that are flexible and reliable for a decent price. I needed an angle cable because the device in use did not have enough room behind it. This cable was perfect for the job. It is not my first cable from StarTech and will continue to buy only this brand.

Not much to say about a USB cable. StarTech makes pretty good stuff, and at a pretty good price so I got it. It has worked just fine. For what its worth I use it on a device I move around on my desktop constantly and is showing no signs of wear at the ends (had a no-name brand before and the ends around the connectors started to split after only a few months).

Before I got this cable I was having serious problems with USB 3, to the point where rolling back to USB 2 was more productive (my computing is a bit older, but still IT pro level). This StarTech cable gave me a solid bus connection and made all the difference. The construction and materials are high quality and as soon as I started using it I knew I'd started to pull a painful thorn out of my side. By comparing, I was able to weed out and replace the inadequate cables infesting my setup (all of which were supplied by the makers of the USB-3 gear!). The higher-end StarTech cables are well worth any reasonable cost premium, and at B&H it's usually not that much anyway. Do I sound like an ad? Fine. That's how much frustration and time this purchase has saved me.

Used this cable to connect between old HP Z400 and a Startech S354UFER. Impressed that Firewire 400 transferred faster than USB 2.0. even though USB 2.0 is rated as faster.
