Static In Headphones With Removable Mic

I just got these headphones and am really enjoying them so far. The removable cord is a huge plus.

At first I figured ok I was going to have some static or not performed as in the Product Video on B&H.  Boy was I wrong!!!!  1. The pole and mic are super lite. 2. Assembles and less an a minute. 3. Production Value.... each time I pulled this bad boy out, clients would say, Wow... Hollywood! pulling out all pro-gear Going Big Time Now Oh, this serious 4. I filmed a client in a Noisiest and I mean the Nosiest Warehouse I have ever been in. I could hear my client as clear as day. On my Vimeo Page or Facebook Page you can watch and listen the Ads and Interviews from this year.  5. Super clean audio with no static or buzz.  6. Better than Wireless Mics... No Lavs, No additional Noise from shirt or tie rubbing on mic and most importantly No Popping!  I will post some Photos from Interviews where its setup.

If you're like me, you have more mic stands than pliable tripods, so this is a perfect addition to my interview setup. It's practically like having a static crane for my pocket cam.

Yes they are very inexpensive however they have preformed well during several live events both as static mic or in a push to talk situation. Capture is decent and sound rejection is very good. You get more than what you pay for with these Pyle Mics. Considering the alternative is more that 8 times higher in price it was a no brainer.

I gave this mic a bad review a few days ago becuase there was all kinds of static in videos made with my iphone 6 plus. Got in touch with with Rode directly. They suggested putting the phone in airplane mode. Holy smokes! What a difference. This instruction should be in bold letters on the packaging. The videos sound great now.

I have the Saramonic UWMIC9 wireless dual lav mic system that came with 2 wired mics that costs $399 for the entire set. I only really use just one of the wired mics and the other stays in storage without usage. One day I tried out the other 2nd mic that I rarely used and noticed it produced terrible static sounds. The rarely used 2nd mic was positively defective and I have no idea why. Hence I purchased this Saramonic mic at B&H as a replacement so I can use the dual lav functionality if or when I want to. This Saramonic mic works just fine when I did a quick test using the other 2nd Saramonic wireless transmitter. This mic also works fine when I tested it with my Zoom H1n recorder whereas the defective one made a horrible static noise. I can't speak for the durability of this mic since I've only had it for a short time but so far so good.

But after 14 years of regular and reliable usage, it met with an unfortunate accident through no fault of its own. So I was very glad to be able to replace it. It's a simple, no-frills powered microphone - which is exactly why I like it. Tiny and unobtrusive enough to attach to my violin, cello and woodwind instruments...and the sound seems entirely true to the musician using it (me). By the way and with respect to references that state that this mic does not replicate sound correctly: One thing I noticed when using it with its 1/4 adapter (that was included, never hurts to have spares) is that the adapter-plug itself needs to be rather forcibly attached to the mic's 1/8 plug. But if the adapter-plug is only partially snapped on, it will definitely cause unpleasant static. Thus one needs to make a point of forcefully snapping the adapter all the way on. But that extra-tight fit is perfect in terms of ensuring a solid, static-free contact. Hoping to get another 14 years out of this one. Swing on! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mdrill zone XLR mic is a good mic. It has vertigan technology which has the sound waves going in vertically to help cut down static. You speak in it and it sounds clear and easy to understand with no static. Made well and built to last!!
