Required to add extra inertia to Steadicam stabilizer. Works with Merlin AND Pilot. Note that for the Pilot the maximum weight of the Camcorder/Camera and weights is 10 lbs. 5 |

This is my first steadicam stabilizer I have owned and used, and it works perfectly. Though when you first receive it, don't expect to whip it out and assume it's good to go. You first have to assemble the Glidecam, then balance it. It took me a good while to get it properly balanced. Even after that, there's a certain amount of skill needed to operate the Glidecam, which takes a little bit of practice. The first day I got it, my wrist was absolutely sore from all the weight it was carrying. I have it mounted with a Canon T1i with a 17-40 L lens.Though you could go ahead and get the vest that adds another layer of stability and reduces the amount of stress on your wrist. But after the first few hurdles, you're smooth sailing and flying in no time. 5 |

We use these cameras inside and outside. The quality video/audio and accessibility are better than anything we have used. There is a learning curve for figuring out the app which we got through with help for IT friend. Once system in place we received exactly what we were looking for. Easy to navigate and save/share video/audio. 5 |

I love this stabilizer! There is a huge learning curve, especially if you've never used one before, but with lots of practice you can master it. I used it for a documentary and I loved the fact that it was so easy to set up. Pick it up and shoot. I started to go with the Ronin, but I needed something that would be easy to use on the go and this was it. Highly recommended! 5 |

The ease of using this lens makes for a no learning curve. The ability to get such clear close ups is amazing. The stabilizer compensates for the added weight of holding the camera still. 5 |

When the original GoPros first came out, I remember watching a video of someone shooting it with a rifle and blowing up cans of paint with the camera only a foot or so away from the explosion. GoPro cameras have a 'bomb-proof' reputation. Even with GoPro making the cameras waterproof without the plastic casing, I couldn't imagine ever needing a cage for one of these. That was until I was tasked with capturing video of a large crane unloading several tons of rocks off river barges. I needed much more than just a plastic case if I wanted to mount this on the bucket of the crane. My bare minimum needs were a secure way to attach ND filters, a way to mount a safety chain to the camera and a much more reliable way to mount the camera than the flimsy plastic folding teeth that comes stock on the GoPro. This cage has it all. PROS: VERY easy to assemble & disassemble, - the hinges lock securely and are easy to open, 1/4-20 screw holes (I screwed a 1/4-20 eye bolt to attach safety chain), fits GoPro Hero 9, full view of both front & rear screen, allows you to add the accessory to screw-in 52mm filters, and the cage battery door comes with a small magnetic adapter that allows you to use the camera with either the water-proof door attached, or detached so you can run the camera off AC or quickly charge it without removing the cage or cage door, with handy USB-C charge port. CONS: Metal is much less forgiving than plastic - you have to CRANK down the GoPro screws to get the camera to not move. I highly recommend metal GoPro screws and a metal tool to tighten it. Not necessarily a con for this, but the filter adapter screws into the cage - so the camera is trapped until you unscrew two small allen-head bolts. 5 |

I had been looking for something to help me stabilize my cameras for some time and when i saw this i ordered one right away. it works great with my DSLR, my Video Cam and my GoPro. i like how easy it is to use and configure into several different positions and mountings. i haven't tried it under water yet but that's coming. i would recommend this to anyone that is wanting a more stable hand held support for most all cameras. Thanks.... great concept for sure 5 |

I already had one Jaws Clamp Mount by GoPro, and thought I could use another. I use my Hero3 and small video cameras for a variety of uses, and the Jaws is a great way to squirrel away these cameras to get supplemental footage for our main cameras at events, for instance. I was a little disappointed however with the new Jaws, because it was one segment shorter than my first one. I guess it's a case of the candy bar, the half gallon of ice cream, and the container of coffee that shrank in size without a price reduction. However, it's not a show-stopper, and I'm glad to have a second one. 5 |
