This is the greatest external hard drive I have ever used. It's only about the size of a deck of cards or a smartphone and only about 1/2 inch thick. It uses USB and gets it's power from the computer without the need of additional power. Holds thousands of pictures and also works as a great backup. Definitely recommended. 5 |

Lots of room. No problems with my computer quickly recognizing it (unlike numerous other external hard drives I've used). Use them for long-term travel so the rugged body provides peace of mind. At this price, for this capacity and ease of use, it was well worth getting a second one in order to be sure many TBs of video and photo files are safely backed up. 5 |

I had trouble with Yosemite recognizing this external drive.Others have had this same problem with a variety of external drives with this OS as I subsequently found out searching the internet.The activity light would come on but it did not show up in Finder as a device or on the desktop.Kext Utility 2.6.1 was suggested as a remedy but I could never get a download unassociated with a lot of software I did not need.I left the WD My Passport 3 TB attached to my Apple MacBook Pro attached x 24 hours and for reasons entirely unknown to me,it was recognized and is working fine now.From searching the internet, this is not a unique experience. Hopefully,no further problems with the drive & Yosemite. 5 |

The drive performs amazingly on my steam deck. I love how fast the read and write speeds are. The SSD got to me pretty quick. I had never bought anything from BHphotovideo. And I'm glad to say I will be buying stuff from them again 5 |

The best upgrade you can make for your Steam Deck OLED. I bought this because 512 GB just isn’t enough anymore, and this upgrade took under 10 mins. All you’ll need is a PC preferably running Windows. Rufus a free PC program. USB Flash drive with an adapter or a type-C drive. The Steam Deck operating system that’s available on Valve’s website. T6 screw driver and a guitar pick. Then you’ll can follow along a YouTube video and it’ll be the easier upgrade you can possibly do! I was scared to do it until I saw a video and decided to bite thr bullet and it was so so easy! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great drive so far for my Steam Deck. It is a bit thicker than the drive that comes with the Deck so you will have to shimmy the drive into the shielding when installing but it does fit. 5 |

I bought this to upgrade my steam deck OEM 64GB drive. The price may be a bit high, but the packaging is lovely and can be re used for other various things. This little drive was very easy to install in the Steam Deck. You can watch videos on how to do so. Installing the games on it worked out well and I have no issues with running games from it. 5 |
