Steam Link Controller Not Working In Game

This was my first personal VR headset. Overall I feel it's a good way to get into VR. The screen is nice, with no screen door effect, so it's easy to get immersed. The controllers work great, and hand tracking works well enough to be worth using. Comfort is a drawback of the Quest 2 that is fixable with additional purchases - the foam cushion that comes with this headset is not very comfortable on my face. I've ordered a silicone cover for it from a trusted retailer to compensate for this. It is nice to have the option to play VR without any cables. When using the official Link Cable to play Steam VR games, the mic does not work unless you open the Oculus Home and Steam VR apps, then Windows' built in Voice Recorder app and starting a recording, unplug the Link cable and plug it back in, and then it works. This is a hassle that will wear out the USB C port, and one that I am not alone in experiencing. If you can get over having to do that, I really think you'll like the Quest 2.

So far, I've had no issues so far with the controller in either Steam games or emulators. The controller feels just like a playstation controller, so it's easy to get used to the controls. And since the cord is so long, I could sit away from the computer on the couch. 10/10 Would buy again.

I bought it to store my game/mod to transfer my steam deck. Also, it a great storage device to store my GOG games too. The only gripe is that you get about 3.6 TB of storage.

I LOVE this set up. I especially like how I can plug my oculus quest into the computer and play steam games. I can say this is the main why I game now. The controls are so smooth and I'm not clumsy with them. I love gaming but I am by no means an expert but playing this way has a natural feel to it. The library of stand alone games is pretty good and I'm sure it will keep growing. Some of the ad on things like the more comfortable head strap and usb3.0 cord are expensive but the quantity is nice. Being completely inside the game is such a great experience and takes you out of reality!

working fine but not like big Sony as controller

bought this to link my 88-key controller to the pc to run EZ Keys Grand Piano software. It is plenty long to get there and is plenty fast. Probably would be even better with a more expensive controller.

Using my 1TB microSDXC card as my 2nd storage option on my steam deck. Working well as it should. So far no problems great buy.

With this controller kit i can step up my game in photography.now im enjoying flash photography

Now I get to spend more time with my family as well as have a favorite past time with them when my wife and kids come out to set them up and go through them when we have time! For the price of this camera as well as the price of the plans, you simply cannot go wrong. Just make sure to keep your firmware up to date and your batteries fresh, and these will be very reliable.
