Steam Switch Pro Controller Change Button Position

While this model is operationally identical to my 20 year old 4 button, it has a more modern look. It also comes with a wrist rest and it has a scroll dial which can be useful but it isn't as smooth as I would expect. There is a small learning curve and a lot of getting used to, but well worth the effort. Be careful of Carpel Tunnel Syndrome - just find the most comfortable wrist position and stick with it. If you start feeling uncomfortable change your position. Often the slightest change makes a world of difference. Once you use a large format trackball, you'll never go back to a mouse.

I purchased this to go along with a new Canon 7d. I wasn't sure how much I would use it as a timer, I really just wanted the remote shutter button. Last week I was shooting some product samples on a lighted table set up for a client. Taking a picture, making a slight position change to the object then walking back to the camera and pressing the remote shutter button. After about 15 photos I realized using the timer function would save me bit of work. I set the timer to take a photo, wait 20 seconds (so I could change the position of the object) and then take another photo. Think of it as getting Air Conditioning with your new car, you won't use it everyday yet at some point it is going to make you more comfortable. The TC-80N3 remote will make your job easier at some point, get one and put it in your bag.

You can switch it on and off by bush the button.

So far, I've had no issues so far with the controller in either Steam games or emulators. The controller feels just like a playstation controller, so it's easy to get used to the controls. And since the cord is so long, I could sit away from the computer on the couch. 10/10 Would buy again.

It's a small and lightweight controller with a firm click of each button and touchpad.

The switch was quickly adopted by the controller and was up and running in a few minutes.

I got this on sale to use with my steam deck and nintendo switch to give me some extra room should my original 512GB SSD run out. I don't fancy messing around replacing the SSD given I'm only a casual gamer and don't play many AAA titles that need that much room. Recognised immediately and formatted without issue. So far so good

title says was purchased for Nintendo switch/ steam deck. Inserted into Nintendo and it work flawlessly. Installed all my games with no problems problems. Great product will buy again.

Durable and comfortable to handle it. Very easy to change the position.
