Great for sustaining notes on my lap steel guitar. 5 |

Bought two of these. One for at home and one for my uncles' house where he is teaching me steel guitar. 5 |

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments. The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections. Versatile and great sound quality. 5 |

This mic sounds very nice for vocals, plucked string instruments, and woodwind instruments (at least that's what I've tried it on). I highly recommend it! 5 |

Was going to build something similar with some steel boxes and 10-3 drop cord to string behind my band to plug in amplifiers. This is so much better! It's flexible, light weight and has features I couldn't make myself. Love the outlet covers and indicator lights on each outlet! Every Sound Man should own a couple! 5 |

Both my wife and I have one of these. Exactly as described. Works perfectly. I use it on nylon string, steel string and lap steel guitars. 5 |

I bought these to permanently attach to some inexpensive LED lighting, which came with cheap mounts. These pins are exactly what I needed for mounting lightweight instruments to C-stands. Because they're aluminum, they're well suited to smaller pieces of kit where a steel pin might be overkill or the weight might actually damage lighter instruments. These pins appear to be fairly precise and consistent, but they are a tiny bit under 0.625. And because they are aluminum, they will not withstand as much abuse as steel - this may lead to nicks, gouges, or deformation, including with the 1/4-20 threads if you try to crank down on them. The best use is for lighter gear, in my opinion around the 15lb limit. I have a bag full of standard spigots and adapters, but have avoided taking along more than one or two baby pins. Given the price and weight of these studs, however, I am carrying a handful along everywhere I go. 5 |

One of the best (some would say the best...) microphone in the business, particularly for vocals and lower sound level instruments (acoustic guitar, flute, etc...). Extremely sensitive, very low noise. Picks up the tiniest detail. The switchable polar pattern, integrated low cut filter and 10 dB attenuation pad means you can use them for anything in any situation, couple of switches and you are done. Just did a simultaneous recording with my Schoeps on a flute and these sounded even better, if that was at all possible. More velvet and refinment in the mid tones. You could immediately tell why they are unsurpassed on voice. If you can afford it and don't mind how large they are, this is the quintessential studio mic you need in your arsenal. 5 |

Use these for cymbals, ac. guitar, violin... rich sounding instruments. Freq response is terrific & very versatile w/ 2 pad settings, 2 rolloff settings, & 2 patterns. I love having the shockmount clips as well. 5 |
