Steelseries First Headset

to start, I've never cared one way or another about the mic on my headsets so I don't really have any input on it besides everybody in my groups says my voice is very clear. As far as the rest of the headset goes, 10/10 as far as I'm concerned. For a bit of background, I have previously or currently own Bose QC 35 ll, Sony WH1000XM3, Steelseries Arctis 7, and Logitech G933. I find the G Pro X to be much more more comfortable than both the Steelseries and G933 and almost as comfortable as the non gaming headsets I listed. I have worn them for 6 hours at a time though and feel no discomfort which is amazing. They personally fit me very well (6'1 with an average head/ear size) and the leather ear cups have never gotten too warm. The fact that you can plug them in via aux or usb-A is also very nice since some computers can be finicky. The in-line mic is also an amazing convenience that you rarely see. I normally use the dial on my keyboard. Lastly, I can't not say enough not only how well this headset sounds but how amazing the surround sound is! I thought the G933 and Arctis 7 were good but MY GOD is the surround sound crisp. I play a handful of games but I play Destiny 2 on the daily when I can and gunshots from the enemy have never been so clear to my ears. I truly believe it is helping me whip around to the correct position of the enemies faster and more accurately. Although looks are up to personal opinion, I love the all black with a bit of silver/metal look. It gives it a very professional feel and the entire headset also has a very sturdy feel to it. After using these for two weeks now, I would have happily spent $200 $250. Hope this helps:)

This headset took me by surprise. First asus Rog headset I've owned to date and just wow, very crisp and the simplest features to equalize the sounds. Presets are not to shabby, with minor adjustments the headset sounds great. Highly recommend them worth the money.

First thing Id like to mention, Ive used this headset for handheld camera operation on tv crews during some conventions and I dont own this headset(in the process of buying 1 for myself). And honestly I have no issues with it, its comfortable, its flexible, very reliable, and definitely wonderful when on camera. Now I do agree with the other review in that its practically not possible to hear anyone talking to you while wearing the headset with both ear buds in.  But that tells me it does its job very well.  I will say that when my grip is trying to talk to me when Im wearing this wonderful headset all I have to do is pop out 1 of the earbuds and problem of not hearing solved very quickly and its easy to put the in ears back in once out and they hold very well.  Now with all that being said, I will say that for me personally this headset works very well, but each person that is using this type of gear has to find what works best for them individually. For those like myself that this headset works great, its a worthy product. for those that its not great for them, another product will be better.  Hope this helps future buyers!

First I want to shout out B&H, they always have incredibly fast and reliable shipping. This headset is hard to find at retailers, but B&H had them readily available. Love you guys! The headset itself is simply amazing. I am a gamer who plays CoD, Valorant, Fortnite, where directional audio and hearing footsteps is important. The soundstage these are able to create are better than my gen3 Astro A50's, A40 TR's, and HyperX Cloud Alphas. As a music lover, they are also amazing. The preset is very good, however, there are EQ's out there you can use to tune to what you're doing (competitive gaming vs adventure games vs listening to music). The weight of the headset was a concern of mine before purchasing, but I can honestly say I don't notice it at all while gaming for 4-5 hour sessions. They can tend to slip off when tilting my head to take a drink, but other than that I've never had any issues with the weight. If you're on the fence, just get the headset! They are on the top of almost every 2023 Wireless Gaming Headset of the year list.

First Gaming headset I have purchased. I’ve used jbl speakers in my cars before so I knew the sound would be good it man was I impressed!

First and best headset the quality is amazing i love it i play with it so much I've been playing standalone its so good the wifi connection is excellent because I dont really hear lag from my teammates in population one overall its one of the best headsets out there but add the ipd slider next time:)

First VR headset ever and incredible! I did see a review of games for the original Quest and Rift, but having trouble finding these same games for the Quest 2. Only wish the same games were available. Hoping to see some of them available soon.

I bought this for my Steelseries Apex Pro TKL. It fits quite well despite being designed for the Roccat Vulcan TKL.
