Steelseries Flux Headset Review

to start, I've never cared one way or another about the mic on my headsets so I don't really have any input on it besides everybody in my groups says my voice is very clear. As far as the rest of the headset goes, 10/10 as far as I'm concerned. For a bit of background, I have previously or currently own Bose QC 35 ll, Sony WH1000XM3, Steelseries Arctis 7, and Logitech G933. I find the G Pro X to be much more more comfortable than both the Steelseries and G933 and almost as comfortable as the non gaming headsets I listed. I have worn them for 6 hours at a time though and feel no discomfort which is amazing. They personally fit me very well (6'1 with an average head/ear size) and the leather ear cups have never gotten too warm. The fact that you can plug them in via aux or usb-A is also very nice since some computers can be finicky. The in-line mic is also an amazing convenience that you rarely see. I normally use the dial on my keyboard. Lastly, I can't not say enough not only how well this headset sounds but how amazing the surround sound is! I thought the G933 and Arctis 7 were good but MY GOD is the surround sound crisp. I play a handful of games but I play Destiny 2 on the daily when I can and gunshots from the enemy have never been so clear to my ears. I truly believe it is helping me whip around to the correct position of the enemies faster and more accurately. Although looks are up to personal opinion, I love the all black with a bit of silver/metal look. It gives it a very professional feel and the entire headset also has a very sturdy feel to it. After using these for two weeks now, I would have happily spent $200 $250. Hope this helps:)

I bought this for my Steelseries Apex Pro TKL. It fits quite well despite being designed for the Roccat Vulcan TKL.

Older competitors product was in flux a creating my work from home situation unreliable. I have high hopes for this modem for future speed enhancements. It’s doing it’s job well!

Useful when long exposures are desired in scenes with high luminous flux.  Threads fit and rotation is smooth.

I bought this because I was a little nervous about what voltage flux the AVL58 RX could take so I decided to get a regulated 12V power cable and this works well. I have to put it somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 the way in though as the power doesn't register when it's all the way pushed in, but that's not a big deal to me. I'm just happy I can now use this with my FPV system for my DJI Phantom!

Great light for the price. I got this GVM SD200D because it was rated with a slightly higher luminous flux. The LED is bright enough with a big softbox for a single person interview in a dark room. it gets the job done and I'm satisfied with the value for the money I paid. In the future I will probably use it as a fill light and it will work better for that.

This is my first time working with a digital microphone. The first thing I did was test it versus my iPhone 14 Pro Max and my SteelSeries Pro headset. This blew them both out of the water.   I used it as a system with the iPhone, then also as just a receiver hooked up to an Osmo Action 4.  Post-production using Lumafision on the iPad was a breeze as well. I was able toi easily isolate sounds.

I upgraded from a SteelSeries Arctic 7 and man, what a difference. These are better than any headphones I've ever owned. They make me want to just sit and listen to music, something I haven't done in years. Oh yeah, and they work great as a headset too of course.
