Steelseries Flux In Ear Pro Headset Review

to start, I've never cared one way or another about the mic on my headsets so I don't really have any input on it besides everybody in my groups says my voice is very clear. As far as the rest of the headset goes, 10/10 as far as I'm concerned. For a bit of background, I have previously or currently own Bose QC 35 ll, Sony WH1000XM3, Steelseries Arctis 7, and Logitech G933. I find the G Pro X to be much more more comfortable than both the Steelseries and G933 and almost as comfortable as the non gaming headsets I listed. I have worn them for 6 hours at a time though and feel no discomfort which is amazing. They personally fit me very well (6'1 with an average head/ear size) and the leather ear cups have never gotten too warm. The fact that you can plug them in via aux or usb-A is also very nice since some computers can be finicky. The in-line mic is also an amazing convenience that you rarely see. I normally use the dial on my keyboard. Lastly, I can't not say enough not only how well this headset sounds but how amazing the surround sound is! I thought the G933 and Arctis 7 were good but MY GOD is the surround sound crisp. I play a handful of games but I play Destiny 2 on the daily when I can and gunshots from the enemy have never been so clear to my ears. I truly believe it is helping me whip around to the correct position of the enemies faster and more accurately. Although looks are up to personal opinion, I love the all black with a bit of silver/metal look. It gives it a very professional feel and the entire headset also has a very sturdy feel to it. After using these for two weeks now, I would have happily spent $200 $250. Hope this helps:)

I bought this for my Steelseries Apex Pro TKL. It fits quite well despite being designed for the Roccat Vulcan TKL.

This is my first time working with a digital microphone. The first thing I did was test it versus my iPhone 14 Pro Max and my SteelSeries Pro headset. This blew them both out of the water.   I used it as a system with the iPhone, then also as just a receiver hooked up to an Osmo Action 4.  Post-production using Lumafision on the iPad was a breeze as well. I was able toi easily isolate sounds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This headset is very comfortable and light with 3D sound. Surround sounds can be heard very clearly around you with an immersive experience. I've also noticed no latency while gaming on my PS5 via the 2.4ghz wireless dongle. I played a long time for hours without a charge. The ear cups fit nicely and comfortably without hurting your ears. The mic is very clear on the headset, flexible and detachable, which is a very nice feature. The controls on the ear cups are very easy to reach. The headset can also be used via bluetooth. Overall, they are a great headset for gaming consoles. The JBL Quantum 360X is very well designed for gaming without any disappointment. They look, feel, and work great with my PS5 console even though they are designed for XBOX, but can also be used on a PC or Mac. Overall 5 stars from me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few Bluetooth ear buds and a usb headset, but also have a pair of backup EarPods with a microphone just in case. The occasion came when I left all my Bluetooth ear buds at home and didn’t have my headset, luckily I had this backup! I like that it has a bypass for power just in case I am using the other two USB ports for something else. This does the trick, and takes up little space in my bag, so will continue to always have it on me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing you notice as soon as you grab the box is how light it is compared to other headsets you may have had in the past. This was a first a little concerning but as soon as you connect the dongle and put these on and wait a few seconds you will be happy. The headset quickly paired up. The controls are super simple and then you will notice the amazing amount of sound for such a super light headset. The ear cups are over the ear style and are very comfortable. After a initial charge they were on my head for the rest of the night. My evening gaming sessions are fairly long and very intense with other players. There were no issues being understood, directional audio was accurate and clear and quality was on point. Three hours later my ears were not over heated and the headset still felt light on my head. So very happy with this headset!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the JBL Quantum 910X headset and, wow, what sound! I found that it not only had the great low-end sound when needed but the immersive clarity of the audio was amazing. It’s so sharp that you can have surround sound in a headset. Clean, crisp, and punch when I needed it. The JBL sound! So connecting the headset via Bluetooth was quick and painless. It seemed to snap connect right into place. Connected to the left ear cup was the removeable boom mic, that when lifted, goes into mute mode. When lowered the mic is immediately back on and ready for smack talk with your gaming friends. The box contains USB C and A adaptors, charging cable, a windsock/windscreen for the mic for all the jumping around and moving your head. An audio cable if you’re for whatever reason you lose Bluetooth connectivity. As well as several tutorials and registration guides to help you through setup. I, for one, am very impressed with the sound, feel, and look of this game headset. And by the way the aesthetics of the green illumination on the ear cups looks very cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad I got these headphones! The ear prices are large and do not pinch my ears. The nice and big ear coverage is very comfortable. The headset worked right away after plugging in the usb port into the computer. I like that a app is not required. Its simple and fast to use. I am also pleased with the good sound quality plus the microphone works great. This is a well made headset.
