Steelseries Keyboard Driver Linux
Nazmul | 0000-00-00 00:00:00 |
You need to download a newer driver than what is on the CD because there is a Linux kernel update. 5 |

Works well with Linux Mint Mate 20 and so do all the Logitech combos since they use the same driver. 5 |

I wanted a screaming fast desktop with the ability to expand and upgrade. In addition to the original 1tb nvme drive, I've since added a second nvme, two SATA ssd's, and a usb a/c hub with extra ports. Amazing! On Windows 11 I'm getting over 1gb on wifi, and I haven't even tweaked any hardware/overclocking settings. Now that other nvme was for Linux Mint, so now it's a dual boot beast! I'll need to deploy some geek magic to get the internal wifi 7 card working, and because the NVIDIA card is so new the driver manager won't let me install the most recent NVIDIA driver on Linux but both issues should resolve themselves over the next few months as the operating system catches up to the latest hardware innovations. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 5 |

This adapter works well with Linux, but will require the user to compile the open source driver and install it. Careful instructions are on the web. I use it on a workstation normally attached to ethernet, but occasionally in need of wireless access. Quick speed test on a strong signal was about 250Mbps (650Mbps on ethernet). 5 |

Great mechanical keyboard for programming. Works great with Linux as well. 5 |

I have been using a pair of these for two 1K monitors switching between Windows (at first W7 and now W10) and Linux (Kubuntu) for several years now. I have never had much of a problem with them. I have always used a wired keyboard with them which suits my needs since I use it on a desktop. I have also always used a Logitech M510 wireless mouse with them and that worked perfectly, including forward/back side buttons which I use frequently in Linux to switch between virtual desktops. I have never had to touch the settings in the KVM, which means mouse emulation has always been on. However, one of them died, sort of. It got worse and worse. I think they must have some kind of low power processor in them that deals with them mouse emulation and keyboard functions. I could no longer communicate with it via the keyboard nor did my scroll wheel or side buttons work on the mouse. Intermittently at first, but permanently at the end. I switched the KM part of the KVM to the other one which still worked fine. I had trouble finding a replacement at some of the other big sites where you might expect to get them, but was happy to see the B&H had them in stock. And, as usual the shipping was prompt. The replacement works perfectly. I expect to get another bunch of years of service from it. 5 |

This is the second one I've purchase and didn't even consider any other keyboard. It is simply a great keyboard for day or night use. I am using this with a Linux system and have been able to get all the functionality out of it that I need. 5 |

A great high-quality product once you get it installed. It did not auto-install the driver in Win 7 when the USB connector was plugged in as described in the quick menu. I had to manually install the driver using the provided disk. After that minor annoyance, I found it to be a super tool, very programmable/customizable for command menus which greatly reduces the need for keyboard inputs. It is also easily convertible to left-hand use. I've used an older Intuos2 in the past, so transitioning to the tablet was not a big issue. I really like the smaller size - it's very convenient to use in your lap (especially with it's wireless feature), fits well on the desktop next to keyboard, and requires less hand movement. The wireless feature has worked very well for me and has not presented any problems. It is perfect for Photoshop, Lightroom, CAD work, general-purpose use & web navigation. I rarely use the mouse, although I do sometimes miss the scroll wheel. To say the least, I'm extremely happy with the purchase of this tablet. 5 |

Very solid. Very adjustable(up & down, and side to side). Easy to install with a drill driver like 7 screws plus 2 with rubber stops for the slide. Screw to underside of desk. Mouse pad can go on either side. The wrist pads or cushions have an adhesive backing and stick down to the keyboard platform. Way better than a keyboard drawer. 5 |

I bought this for my Steelseries Apex Pro TKL. It fits quite well despite being designed for the Roccat Vulcan TKL. 5 |
