The only USB converter that I found that works with Windows 7 64 bit. Just plugged it in, windows went out and found the driver (did NOT have to use the CD that came with) and it works it works, it works!! 5 |

I bought this switch to replace both an older Dell switch that supported only PS/2 connections and a newer StarTech switch that supported USB but only had 4 ports. As newer server came in the didn't supply PS/2 connections, I needed something that supported USB and had decent screen resolution. This did the trick. We use it with Windows Server 2003 (going away), 2008R2, XenServer 6.1, Windows 7, and a security camera system. Connections were straightforward and all the cabling was supplied with the kit. Rack mounting and connections were all easily done. 5 |
