This has been fantastic for recording audio for video. I use a Rode shotgun mic with mini jack, and a couple wireless lavs. In the past I'd had to choose which to record. Now, I can use the two XLR in's for lavs, and the stereo mini jack in for my Rode mic. Two mono sources and one stereo source each to their own channel. Does get any better than that. I've also found it really easy with this device to record venue audio. For example, I can quickly hand it to an in-house sound engineer, and he can figure out really quickly how to give me a feed and how to level it on the device without much/any explanation. 5 |

This is a back to basics not so cheap phone. It is a really great phone. Excellent camara, phone jack, stereo speakers... Facing the person, light weight, well made, ergonomic to the hand, pocket sized.... And the thing that i like the most... Led notification. I will buy another one when the needs comes. I have a few pretty good 1/8 jack microphones and discovered that their connector ring pattern is not compatible with the pattern on the combo input/output audio jacks on new computers. The USB adapter card/connector is a complete solution. It travels with me wherever those mics go. 5 |
