Stereo Vs Surround Sound Gaming Headphones

The quantum surround sound will give you the surround sound experience and is the best part of the headphones. You can customize your sound experience with the app. The microphone works perfect.The headphones worked perfect with my Xbox One. This headset gives immersive gaming experience you need. Negatives: None but if nitpicking, the sound cable can be little longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been playing computer video games right after the invention of the wheel in every configuration possible in both video and audio. I went from a highfalutin 5.1 surround system to mutiple experiments with 2.1 systems.but nothing engaged me fully in the gaming until now. Set up was again very easy with the dongle connection to the computers USB, download the JBL Quantum app and you are at the starting gate. Click on the 7.1 channel set up and it will launch a video on how to configure the headphones with Windows.This is when the fun starts. Press test after configuration and you will hear the 7.1 surround test pattern swirling around your head.Very cool. It took a little while for my brain to adapt to the ambience that these headphone provide and doing so wirelessly! Footsteps, voices in various enviroments, shot gun blast, and explosions, drew me into the game.Soon the headphones disappered and the gaming expierence became more pronouced and involving. Even my old games that I played over a million times had a new lease on life. But wait theres more. Besides my music library in my computer, I also stream music. Now I can listen to music with these headphones without being tied down to the computer. In fact the distance from the computer was very very impressive. Did I like these? Absolutly killer for gaming and music! They have not left my head!

Am currently using this as a surround sound But am feeling there is so much wasted Since this sound better as a stereo Set up. Very unfortunately there is not an option to Use as both with a simple bottom or a option in the app in order to use this as desired is a nightmare To go over Anyways the speakers are very elegant this in my opinion is the best Sonos have made

Bought one a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it so bought a second one so I can have stereo surround sound party mode Delighted with it

I have tried the Sonos Era 300 in single,stereo and surround configurations. In single use they sound amazing. Give lot of room fillling sound due to its range of speakers. With a stereo pair it enhances the filling of the room even more. Where they really shine are as surrounds with an arc setup and sub. Amazing atmos performance!

I love the sound of these speakers. I use them as surround speakers with Arc. Playing music is incredible. However, when I'm watching TV the 5.1 surround sound is spotty. The broadcasters aren't always broadcasting in surround, so I have to remove the surround and reuse them as a stereo pair or just individual speakers. It seems there would be a way for the system to recognize this and adjust. Or at least give me the option to toggle between surround and stereo on the fly without having to go through the system menu options to remove them and then later add them back as surround when available. This would be an option for any surround speakers, not just 300's.

This is a great, potable recorder that is easy to use and makes crisp sound recordings in 2 channel stereo and 4 channel surround-type sound. The sound quality is as good as recording with a small mixing board and 2 or 3 mics.

I bought this amp to re-introduce me to stereo after having gone to surround sound years ago. Wow, what a difference returning to stereo for music. Incredible clarity and crispness. Love the amp.

I was using them a stereo set then moved them to living room and paired them with my arc and it got ridiculous this is the best surround sound I ever heard highly recommend if you love watching movies at home with that movie theater sound
