Sticker Labels Thermal Printer Machine

I had been printing shipping labels on sticker paper, which would never line up to the top edge, so I had to cut them out of the middle of the paper. It was a pain and a waste. Now I press print and the QL-1100 is all like, "I got this" and shoots it out in two seconds. It was super easy for me to set it up. I have a Dell computer. I'm not technically savvy and it was a snap. I love, love, love this printer. I had been on the fence about buying a thermal printer, and I'm kicking myself for waiting this long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with an online store, I love the fact that Influenster and DYMO sent this to me to test. This little guy will save me so much on my printer ink and tape. Before I was printing my labels and taping them to the package but with this they print onto a sticker which helps me get the job done faster. Speaking of fast, the speed which something prints from this is almost instantaneous. The software makes creating labels quick and easy. You can print more than just shipping labels too. It will print whatever you want onto a sticker. Choose your text, photo, font and clip art with ease. It does only print in black and white because it’s a thermal printer, which does not use ink. I love how small it is, so I’m not using up all the space on my desk. The only thing that was remotely difficult was installing the label roll into the printer, which was likely user error anyway. If you participate in e-commerce or need to ship your products, this is an excellent investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This label printer was simple to set up and get started with. I love that it auto-senses the size of the labels when you load them, so you don't have to configure the software for the labels you select. Switching rolls of labels is fairly simple. This is a direct thermal label printer, so the labels do fade over time, especially if exposed to sunlight (compared to the longer-lasting, thermal transfer labels from much more expensive printers). The labels look fresh and crisp when newly printed and are great for printing postage or shipping labels. The compact size means it's always ready to go without taking up much desk space. Great value and a quality product!

I initially bought the QL-800 because it was an inexpensive thermal printer and I am starting a home-based business on the cheap. With just using the sample rolls of labels and tape, I was very impressed with the quality printing and ability to have red too, instead of just black on the labels. It's very easy to swap out the roll for tape or labels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get a machine that I can use to make address labels and labels for anything else. As soon as I set it up to start testing it I ran into a problem. Something was wrong with systems preferences and I had to allow it to be on my Mac. After that was resolved the machine could read the labels and was connected but wouldn’t print anything. After leaving it alone and coming back I decided to figure out how to disconnect the little printer from my computer. After deleting the printer and re installing It it finally worked. Definitely worth playing around with just for the fact that now I don’t have to hand write addresses for all Christmas cards this year plus using it to organize things in the office and pantry. This machine does only use dymo labels and in multiple sizes just because it has to recognize it while printing and I also loved that they have pictures you can add to the labels in the dymo connector app that I had to download to my computer. Definitely makes it more personalized.

I have owned a Brother P-touch label printer for many years. The machine has given impeccable service and is my go-to device. Recently I bought myself a new P-touch Cube Plus. Not because there was anything wrong with the old one, but for my son's residence. Being able to compose labels on my phone is a huge plus. The keyboard on the old device is limited. While I mastered it over the years, the convenience of using my phone is head and shoulders above. Removing the backing to expose the adhesive is better in the new system. Instead of needing to fumble with the edge of the tape, just bending it along its length is much easier and nicer. One oddity that I do not understand is why, when printing a label, the machine cuts off a blank piece of label material about 1/2 inch long. That seems unnecessary and wasteful to me. And the UI for composing labels on my phone could use some improvement. It is a trifle clunky to my taste.

Perfect for my old Canon FD 50mm 1,8f... If you don't mind the sticker labels. I don't.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brother thermal labels print a crisp image that easily peels from the backing. This size is ideal for return address labels on large envelopes. I also printed organizational labels and then cut to size. I plan to buy more sizes for future projects. They come in a large variety of sizes and are easy to install into my QL1100 Brother printer.
