[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little printer is a great device for printing joyful memories at home, right from the party or event and share with your friends. The quality and color of the images are superb. It only takes few seconds to print and the printer application is super easy and convenient to use. It even has a lot of cute sticker and fun frame options that you can design your photos with. The package came with two beautiful photo albums and printing paper and another kind of sticker paper. It’s amazing to see how the printer transfers color without using any ink cartridges. It makes it more convenient to use, all you need is to order ink infused paper from their app and you are ready to go. The printer is very smooth, fast and low sound while printing. The battery lasts about 2 hours, which I would say is enough for a little device to print about 20 images in that amount of time. I love that I can print my own photos at home, and love how comfortable and fun the whole experience is with Canon. This is my new favorite personal printer! Everyone should have one.

I think most people know that Epson's Luster is a great paper, so no need to comment there. I have an Epson 3880 printer that does not handle roll paper. But the printer will handle a print up to 37.4 inches long. Note that I said 37.4 and not 37.5 as I previously thought. Since Epson does not make 17 x 37.4 sheets, I bought the roll planning to cut it to size. That was easily done with my 24 Rotatrim paper cutter. I was surprised at how flat the cut sheet was right after cutting. There was only a sleigh curl at the ends lifting about an inch off the table. I usually let my prints air dry for at least a day before packing or framing them. At the end of that time the print was totally flat. So far I have only used about 13 feet of the roll and the curling may be different as I get to the end of the roll, time will tell. I mentioned that the maximum print length of the 3880 is 37.4. I ruined 3 large sheets of paper because I defined the paper size, in Photoshop CS6, to be 16x37.5. Rather than give an error message, the Epson driver started a print with a 15 inch border on the left side and a 4 inch top and bottom. I stopped the print before it got to the right border. It wasn't a total loss as I cut a bunch of different size smaller sheets on the Rotatrim. This is a great paper that stays very flat for the thickness. For now I'm delaying my plans to make a de-curler.

So I got this paper because of its thickness and texture. I print two images on a page, cut the page in half, and have two cards that be used for any occasion.

The Moab Lasal Photo Matte paper is amazing. It's crisp white. It's heavy enough to feel substantial. It's a deep matte, which is what I like for photos. I don't want any shine. There is no bronzing on this paper. It's sharp and colors are very rich. I use this for all my normal photo prints for clients. I use this paper with an Epson r2880. I've done scratch and water tests on this paper and it holds up extremely well. I've dunked a print completely underwater with a minute of coming off the printer and nothing streaked. After drying, it looked as good as a non wet print. One of my favorite aspects of this paper is that it comes in a wide variety of cut sheets including 4x6, 5x7, and 8.5 x 11. I DO wish it came in 8x10. Also comes in larger cut sheets as well as rolls all the way to 44 wide.

I'm using this paper with my Epson 3880 printer. The 3880 does not use roll paper, so I cut it to length up to 37.4 inches on my Rotatrim paper cutter. I'm not reviewing the Rotatrim, but if you do very much paper cutting this thing is worth every cent, http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/45036-REG/Rotatrim_RC_RCM24_24_Mastercut_Professional_Rotary.html. Perfect cuts every time and you can trim an edge so narrow you can hardly see it. Notice I said above 37.4 inches and not 37.5. I had read on one of the forums that the max was 37.5 so that was the first size I tried to print. If you define the paper size to be 37.5, you won't get an error message, the Epson driver will simply ruin the sheet of paper. I ruined two sheets figuring it out.The surface is similar to Epson's Luster except better. It reminds me of the surface we used to get on black and white glossy paper when we dried it face up to avoid the shiny gloss finish. The other thing I like is the weight of the paper. Its much heaver than Luster and so it lays flatter. That makes it very to mount without having to glue it to the mounting board. I usually do a museum mount, hanging the print from the top with tape the back of the print then placing the cut mounting board on top. Even large prints stay nice and flat. If I do this with a large Luster print, in time the print noticeably loses it's flatness. This is my favorite paper. If you like Luster, you will love Exhibition Fiber.

Truly exceptional quality paper at half the price of the other brand. I cut the paper in half so I can print a 8x12 then I have twice as many sheets. The colors are vibrant and saturated and the blacks are blackety black black but still hold detail.

After being frustrated by the local print shops refusing to print on my own 24 paper, I managed to negotiate this new printer with my wife. My old Epson R2400 is getting a little worn out and only prints 13 wide. My project required a 24x30 print. Reading reviews and articles about this and other wide format printers, the only adverse comment I saw for the T2170 were complaints about feeding paper. With plenty of experience arguing with recalcitrant printers, I took the plunge and purchased this one. Surprise with the size and weight of the new printer had me a little worried if it would fit in my computer room. This is a BIG printer, nearly 3' wide and 1 1/2' deep, I couldn't put it where I had originally planned (I should have bought the stand too.) After rearranging things and finishing setup, I tried my first print. I had no problems feeding roll paper, and very little with cut sheets. The printer is very fussy about skew when loading, but if you carefully follow the guides, it goes in cleanly, even with an unevenly cut leading edge. The automatic cutter took care of that on the first print. Prints were excellent and well worth the price. It is much more convenient to feed cut sheets from the back rather than the front of the printer, so be sure to leave some room, or put it on a moveable stand of some kind. I consider this printer well worth the price for someone who needs the width. I can't wait to try a really big panoramic print!
