I have been in the market for a higher quality "carry camera" ... something with a small, discreet profile that I can just grab and go. Mainly for trips / vacations or family gatherings where it is just not convenient to bring along all my gear.. The Fuji x100v fits that bill perfectly. Aside from the sleek design, this camera is pure joy to use. I find myself taking it with me everywhere I go. I thought the fixed focal length would be limiting. But in fact it is a blessing to not even have to think about what lens I should bring. I find this helps improve my compositions. And the files coming out of this camera are beautiful. And then there are the film simulations which are brilliant. The ability to produce straight out of camera jpegs that mimic your favorite film stock is both a time saver and a hell of a lot of fun. There are third-party websites that offer tons of film stock recipes that you can program into your camera with little effort. The look of film with the convenience of digital. Brilliant ! My only wish would be in-body stabilization, but maybe that is coming in a future generation. I can't say enough about this camera. I think you will love it too. Five stars hands down.

Epson 850 Pro is the best bang-for-the-buck on the market in terms of image quality, speed and price. I am a photographer, trainer and consultant and recommend the 850 Pro to most of my clients.

5 years from now these lenses will still be some of the best on the market. They have a beautiful image and will stand the test of time. Perfect focal lengths for a kit. Quick shipment from B&H.

Due to the failure of my E-Image legs I was in the market for a new base. This tripod has a mid-spreader which is nice. Coming from a floor spreader, I wasn't quite sure how I would like the mid-spread, but it works well. Solid construction, not quite at the higher end range of build quality, but definitely acceptable. It was shipped to me in about a week after ordering. I would buy again if I were looking in this price range, but the next tripod we buy will most likely be in the upper range. A good buy.
