I bought this after my older 5.1 receiver stopped working. The main reason we use this is for music and the sound quality is top notch! I was pleasantly surprised when the unit automatically detected my older SACDs and I was able to listen to them in surround sound through the HDMI connection! DVD Audio also sounds excellent. My only con is the Startup Guide does not mention "Setting your speaker pattern" which is found in the Operating Instructions. 5 |
