Storage Unit Security Camera

Great storage for security DVR.

I bought this to use on my Blink security camera base unit. It is a perfect fit for my needs.

The Peak Design Wrist strap adds security and could prevent the loss of a [dropped] valuable camera. It works as expected and if positioned correctly stays out of the way most of the time. It's ideal if you already use a PD neck/shoulder strap with the PD quick connect anchor links. The magnetic bracelet hold-down is a neat feature if you like to wear high-tech jewelry. I have several of these (one for each camera), and have found that the pressure required overcome the fully-open position lock varies from unit to unit. One opens with little force, while another takes a strong pull.

It is very nice to have so much storage in a compact unit.

I use this for camera, gun and ammunition storage cases. This unit works well. However, instead of the listed 5 hours, it takes 8 to 12 hours to recharge, so I recharge it overnight. The unit will be hot, so I let it cool off for at least 30 minutes after I unplug it. This is the same as other similar products that I have. I did not notice any fumes. My wife did not have any allergic reaction to this product while it was recharging. I prefer this to the products that you recharge in an oven or microwave.

I use this for non edit storage of video and its a great solid little unit.
