Case is deeper than ones I've used before; so, still working on the best packaging strategies. Top has pocket that should be nice for keeping customs registration documents. Probably will buy the Nanuk TCA lock as it looks like it will fit better than the ones I have. Haven't flown it yet; but, looks promising. 5 |

I manage equipment that has to be deployed at times and travel/ship/fly it where ever it needs to go. We currently have 63 of this particular model (and it’s predecessor). These things get dropped on their heads and after 5 years in total across all 63 pelicans I have only one busted handle and 2 broken clips. And I’m talking many different places, many different vehicles, and many, many different people. With foam, safety is guaranteed. Without foam, what do you expect? Depends on what your shipping just don’t over pack. 5 |

Do your future self a favor and stop using zip ties to cable manage. We now keep a pack of these with us at all times to cable manage everything from bundles of network cables to cable management behind staff computers. Very convenient to be able to just pull apart, add a cable and re-secure together. 5 |
