String Instruments In The Sixties
James | 2024-09-08 07:22:58 |
I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments. The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections. Versatile and great sound quality. 5 |

This mic sounds very nice for vocals, plucked string instruments, and woodwind instruments (at least that's what I've tried it on). I highly recommend it! 5 |

Since the Sixties my midspeed, fine-grain B&W film was Kodak's Plus-X. Ilford's FP4 is my old-school B&W replacement. Good old-fashioned, it's a complement to Delta 100/Acros/TMX technology. FP4 supposedly has the greatest latitude of the midspeeds, develops well in a wide range of chemistries, traditional or modern. Unless K brings back Plus-X, FP4 is my new go-to. 5 |

I live through the sixties and I've had about every speaker since then. But these are really really amazing. You get a lot of sound and a lot a lot of thump 5 |

I have had one of these since the sixties, and use it a quite lot. Since that time, I have acquired a number of ball heads, but always reach for this one. I finally decided to get another, so that I always have one readily available. 5 |

I like the softness of the string and when inside my ears. Great Sound! 5 |
