String Instruments Number Of Strings

Lots of articulations that play well together. I also find the synchron player easier/faster to use than Vienna's older Vienna Instrument player or Kontakt based sample sets. Note that Elite sits somewhere between Chamber and Pro/I orchestra in terms of number of strings. I find that the number of strings in the Pro/I orchestra is enough that you lose some of that sense of 'bow on string'. With Elite you still hear some of that 'bow on the string'. Layering Elite on Pro is also really useful. 5 |

I like this design very much as the strings on the end don't get in the way of your hands the way that most straps do. I finally had a string break after about a year and a half of use, but I already had these replacement ends on hand, so no problem. Recommended! 5 |

I will be using this for recording vocals, instruments (bass, trumpet, guitar, sax) and synth (strings, piano, etc.). Having tried it on synth samples thus far, it adds a mellowing and pleasing analog feel to the recording quality. Excellent manufacturing and presentation. 5 |

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments. The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections. Versatile and great sound quality. 5 |

This mic sounds very nice for vocals, plucked string instruments, and woodwind instruments (at least that's what I've tried it on). I highly recommend it! 5 |

I've used this on pickups from a number of acoustic instruments: violins, mandolins, guitars, etc. It always has a clean sound and the features I need to enhance the quality (if necessary) like a ground/lift switch, impedance switch for the input (instrument/amp) and a filter switch. Plus it's passive so I don't have to worry about phantom power. I love it! 5 |

Our theater group owns one, but needed another and we just purchased a new one so now have 2, thus can double the number of separately-cued instruments/groups of lighting instruments on our small community theater stage. Works well; you haver to spend a bit of learning how to program it, but once you figure out your set-up its ready to go, trouble-free compact. 5 |
