String Instruments Of Nepal

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments.  The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections.  Versatile and great sound quality.

This mic sounds very nice for vocals, plucked string instruments, and woodwind instruments (at least that's what I've tried it on). I highly recommend it!

You can ask your wife or your children where are the photos of your trip to Nepal or save them all in this box

A quick way to not string cables across the stage.

This little gem is working great for me in Nepal. Doesn't way much. Easy to pack. Just used it to hold my 100-500 on a handrail to get a predawn shot of Annapurna II. It did wander a little bit by setting a 10 second timer it would settle out before the shot. I have used it to capture 1/4 second shots of waterfalls using a14-35 and no issues. When you can't use a large tripod this pod a great tool.

I previously used the Vortex Razor for bird watching but gave them to a naturalist in Nepal. The Viper is not quite as sharp and faithful around the edges as the Razor, but this difference is subtle and really not noticeable during bird watching. Their overall designs are very similar. I have no regrets about choosing the Viper and saving about $500.
